I moved in recently and had such a positive experience! The staff are super helpful to make sure you feel educated on moving in and are always willing to answer questions. I had such a breeze move in and would recommend for anyone looking to move at the beach 🏝️

I lived here for two years and would not recommend it. On average, I killed about 20 roaches a day in my apartment. Pest control comes roughly every four months, but the “treatment” consists of placing a few traps under the fridge, which was not effective. There is no in-unit washer and dryer. The machines on each floor frequently malfunction, often taking your money and leaving you with soaking wet clothes that you then have to carry to another machine. Management does not post signs when machines are broken or out of order, which adds to the frustration. Be prepared for potential power outages that can last up to 24 hours, leaving you without heat in the winter or air conditioning during the hottest days of summer. On one workday in mid July, the temperature in my apartment reached 87°F, and I had to take my dog to a friend’s house because it was unbearable. If you get the right unit, the views are 10/10 — that was the one highlight. However, there is no early termination clause in the lease, so think carefully before signing, as you may be locked in even if serious issues arise.

I wanted to wait until we have been here and almost unpacked so I can write an honest review. We moved here site unseen from like five states away. Everything was done via email and phone . It was easily completed and ran smoothly , they even called and checked on us as we drove here prior to the movers to make sure they would be here or we would have access to our unit . We moved here from a house and didn’t really have any experience regarding an apartment living. This apartment is really well-made and I hardly hear any sound from any of my surrounding Neighbors and I pray that it’s the same for them with us. Now to expect that you’re not gonna have any issues in an apartment building where there’s hundreds of people thousands possibly living in and not experience some issues is unrealistic . However, I have not found anything that has been crazy or has inconvenienced my life whatsoever. I’m 100% disabled I ride a mobility scooter. I have a service dog and I also have a child under 10 this location has made it so that I have some independence and everything nearby and very convenient. The residence and staff have made it such a pleasant experience they say good morning they hold the elevators for me. They open doors, for us . Noah, the manager of this apartment building has been very kind and gracious anytime I’ve needed some extra support or I had a question that would need approval for something something as simple as having someone help me with large heavy packages. They’ve all been so kind and helpful now Ms. Athena has been so great and helped me with all the stuff regarding billing and questions regarding restaurants, stores, coffee shops ect . The maintenance crew ! Angel, Ricardo, and Jesse hold the door for us , check in see how we are doing or if we need something . They even have helped me bringing my groceries up when I was struggling with my wheeled bag . The real star of the show though has been Steven . He was my main contact. He was the one that helped me go ahead and finalize all the paperwork to get us moved . I also never come down to the leasing office without at least 2 to 3 questions and he never makes me feel like I am being bothersome or that I’m inconveniencing him in anyway. Today (5/05/25) a matter of fact I had two large packages dropped off by FedEx downstairs in the basement. I had no way to try to get them up. He graciously stopped what he was doing grabbed a cart and brought them up one at a time and laid them down in my apartment, so they’d be out of the way, but I still had access to move my scooter around if I needed to. My husband is a marine and never lived in a sky rise like this before and he ‘a sold. He loves the convenience of how close we are to the beach, the convenience of all the restaurants that are here the fact that all he has to say is we live at the Mayflower and everybody knows exactly where it is located . We are also thankful that everyone is so friendly and it is a secured building so if he’s gone out of town for work and should I need anything, he knows that I can just go ask for help and someone would be glad to assist me. We are glad for our new home and community here at the Mayflower and the view from every room ! 💕 The Patterson’s

I’ve lived here for some years now. The spot is great, close to beach and well kept. Pools, gym and restaurant in a building doesn’t hurt either. I’d like to give a shout out to Mike -one of our maintenance personnel- who is repaintinb floors, upgrading those slippery front steps etc #upgrades

I had my bathtub reglazed. Mike was 15mn early, very impressed, He went right to work. He explained everything that he was going to do.The bathtub is beautiful. Can't wait to take a shower. 😀 Thank you Mike. David Passow
