From day one, he has gone above and beyond to ensure my family and I feel welcome and taken care of. I lived there for about 18 months and I have to say it was probably the worst managed apartment complex I have ever seen. The 3rd month I was living there, I received a “Late rent notice” for the previous tenants… who hadn’t been living there for at least 3 months. I was promised the dish washer was going to be fixed prior to move in however that didn’t get taken care of until I harassed management for 3 months. Then the changed complex managers and the sheer lack of communication was mind boggling. Today I drove to their office over by Hilltop to drop off my keys and the door to the office was locked. I tried calling the associated number and it immediately sent me to voicemail but the voicemail wasn’t even set up… this is the best way to explain the management at dwell. The location is the only positive with this complex. If you’re looking for an apartment in Virginia Beach, I recommend you look elsewhere.

Derek came into our apartment within 30 minutes of us needing him to come fix our heating. He got straight to work and within an hour had it all figured out! Great work Derek keep up the good work

Ebone' Gamby was above and beyond what should have happened. She not only helped me 2x on the phone (polite, kind and courteous mind you) but when I came in person she stopped all she had to do in order to focus just on me. Solved my problem, printed me proof, called the other manager just to give me verbal and physical confirmation AND set up a payment plan. By far the best property manager I have ever dealt with. 5 stars without question.
