Brandon Ludwig 2 months agoThey will give you a great price to get you into the door. In return they will raise rent on your about 50-200$ every year when you renew lease. Their water and heat is a “fixed price” based of apt size and people living however it will range from 100-300$ a month and you have to pay what they tell you even if you use no utilities at all due to being out of town. Not ideal for military. I’ve had my car ran into twice in parking lot along with fellow residents which complex assumes no responsibility nor do they have camera to help. Inside of apartment is nice however and maintenance is not bad.
Stormie Pollard 3 months agoI absolutely love living at Birdneck village.. this is my third time living here and I'm getting ready to renew my lease currently. The staff are prompt and professional also while being understanding and kind. I believe all of the apartments have been upgraded. The amenities on site are great. I do not like that because the pool is so deep there has to be a lifeguard on duty during all pool hours which limits access to the pool. That would be the only thing that I could possibly say is a negative.
Lisa Stanton 4 months agoMoney hungry and genuinely not a great place to live. Maintenance is a total joke and is incapable of fixing a leaky toilet tank seal (5+ visits and weeks of wasted water). They will literally attempt to tow your car for the craziest reasons and have a predatory tow company that is desperate to take peoples cars. Neighbors will leave trash outside their doors and piss in the stairwells (yes this actually happened). Can’t pull the u-haul up closer to the apartments or they threaten to charge you $100 as if that is genuinely a deterrent. They pick and choose when to enforce apartment rules such as the one i mentioned. Pro tip, just wait till the leasing office is gone and park your u-haul. What makes me sick to my stomach is all the cash grabs they go for despite charging egregious amounts for a single bedroom apartment. Don’t get me wrong everywhere is expensive, but let’s not act like we are starving for money when your pockets are more than full. Also, if you provide for your family or self with a work vehicle they will make ANY and ALL attempts to tow or make it inconvenient to have. You have to use a guest pass on company vehicles and god forbid you are a day late or they will tow you. Never understood why apartment complexes punish the people who pay their bills. Just keep looking, all of these complexes suck but if you can avoid this one go ahead and do that.
Expedition Jamaica 4 weeks agovery unfair staff, they will treat you alright when you are living there but once you move out prepare not to get back your deposit and to pay for what ever they come up with. They will charge you a arm and leg for normal wear tear.
Krystle DosSantos a year agoThis complex is truly a hidden gem. The office staff is incredibly attentive and always ready to help — it’s clear they genuinely care about the residents. Maintenance is just as reliable, with quick follow-ups on every call or issue, often resolved the same day. The property itself is beautifully kept, with well-maintained landscaping and plenty of space to walk around and relax. It offers a peaceful, comfortable environment that’s hard to find elsewhere. The pool is fantastic — clean, well-kept, and a perfect spot to unwind. Plus, the location couldn’t be better: close to the shore and surrounded by great shopping and stores for added convenience. Overall, this is a very well-managed and inviting community. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality place to call home.
