This past year I was resident at the Westbury. There is no building that is better and no management that is better than that of the Westbury’s. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. This building has the most responsive and positive group of people working the front desk, inside the general happenings of the building, and online services as well. Cal and Forrest hold down the operations and make things run so smoothly and efficiently, answering any email, text, or phone call I have with any concern building or personal. The building itself is beautiful with updated appliances, floors, and lovely people. I can recommend it enough. Wish I didn’t have to leave. :)

We absolutely loved living at The Westbury. The location alone is unbeatable: literally just steps from Rittenhouse Square, Wash West, and the Arts District, with Broad Street right outside. It’s especially fun on game days when the Birds win or during city traditions like the Mummers Parade. You can walk almost anywhere, and when you can’t, the BSL is just a few feet away. Having multiple grocery options nearby (we especially liked Rittenhouse Market, Spruce Market, and CVS) made errands incredibly walkable and convenient. The building itself is a gem. All the 1920s charm is beautifully preserved, from the architectural details to the natural light, but it’s modern where it counts: reliable appliances, well-sealed windows, and an elevator that always works. But the community is what makes The Westbury feel like home. The residents are warm and neighborly, and we often found ourselves chatting in the lobby or even bumping into neighbors several blocks away and saying hi. And Cal at the front desk is a true treasure; he plans community events, knows every resident (and especially every dog!), and creates a sincerely warm atmosphere. Our reactive dog adored him and always took advantage of the office treat jar. For the location, charm, and community you get, the value is incredible. If we hadn’t purchased a home, we would happily still be there. We’re so grateful for our time at The Westbury and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I lived at The Westbury for nearly 4 years, and I greatly enjoyed my time living there. When I first moved here I was still fairly fresh out of college, and I was very eager to have a home with no roommates that was strictly my own. Between the amazing staff, the building itself, excellent location, and the overall quality of life I had living in this building, The Westbury was worth it all. To start off the location itself is really solid. Being near some of the best neighborhoods in Philly such as Rittenhouse Square is one thing, but the quality of life in this exact spot is excellent too. Whether it be grocery shopping, convenience stores, quality restaurants, or even looking for a bar to chill with friends, the number of options at your disposal is wonderful. The Westbury itself is a very beautiful and wonderful building to live in. The entrance alone is one thing, but the apartments are also in great condition. I toured many different layouts before choosing which to stay in, and I can safely say you can't go wrong with any options. I lived in an 06 1 bedroom apartment during my time as a tenant, and I will say having essentially a corner apartment was ideal for me. The amount of space I had in my apartment was more than enough for me to get creative, and make a space that I could love for myself while being welcoming to all guests I had. While it may be a downside that there isn't in-unit laundry, you will have the option to do laundry in the basement with all of the machines working very well. Throw in that the building has a flat rate utility bill, and your time here will be very smooth. If you're looking for a building that has a caring staff then look no further than here. I started my time with The Westbury being in contact with the building's former manager, Kevin, and he did a great job showing me all that's great with the building. A majority of my time though was spent under Forrest as the property manager, and he was overall very excellent and did a great job taking care of his tenants. The maintenance team led by Glenn was always working nonstop to make sure everything in the building was well-maintained; if you needed something fixed then you can be certain it will be done well and in a timely manner. On top of that all of the doormen such as Cal were always very friendly and welcoming. You can also expect to get free sweets on the weekends and special occasions too. As a whole the entire staff are just all very excellent people who do their best to make everyone living at The Westbury feel welcomed. Overall I really did love my time living here. I've made many great memories during my time there, and I will greatly miss it. To anyone searching for an apartment in Center City I highly recommend you give The Westbury a chance, and to The Westbury I thank you for having me as a tenant for 4 amazing years.

The Westbury is an amazing place to live. The location could not be better - all the bars and restaurants at your disposal; Rittenhouse square park right down the street and a CVS within 30 seconds is key. The staff here are all incredible and always friendly and have safety as their number one priority. Every maintenance request is immediately resolved. Forrest, Glenn, Cal, Danette and everyone at the Westbury are the best! I love my views and apartment so much!

Living at Westbury Apartments was a wonderful experience. The management and staff are very friendly, and helpful. The building is a beautiful historic property, which has been fairly well maintained. Near the beginning of our lease, the entire facade was repaired and the windows were all replaced. The units are generously sized, and many of them have original finishes and details. For the area, the rent is reasonable. The building is pet friendly and charges a flat fee for utilities. A parking garage across the street provides discounted monthly parking. The area is nice. It is close to Center City, Rittenhouse, and is located in the middle of the theater district. Access to public transit is one block away. Many bars and clubs on 15th Street get very loud at night, and traffic gets very congested at times, but if you plan accordingly, it is not hard to avoid.
