The Alexander has been my home for 6 years the building is clean, well-maintained, and the staff truly make residents feel welcome. A special shoutout to lead concierge Charlene — she is always professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. She goes above and beyond to assist residents and makes the building feel like home. Having someone as attentive and friendly as Charlene truly makes a difference. Highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a place to live in the heart of Philadelphia.

My five star review is referring only to Charlene, who works the front desk Monday - Friday at The Alexander. I am writing to express my strong support for Charlene, who works at the front desk of The Alexander. As a resident, I have had consistent interactions with her, and I believe her contributions to the community truly stand out and deserve recognition. Charlene is consistently professional, welcoming, and attentive. She creates a positive first impression for residents and visitors alike, which reflects directly on the overall experience of living here. Beyond that, she goes out of her way to be helpful—whether it’s assisting with packages, answering questions, or handling unexpected situations with patience and composure. What sets Charlene apart is not just that she fulfills her responsibilities, but that she elevates them. She brings a level of warmth and reliability that makes residents feel comfortable and valued. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it shows in her daily interactions. Employees like Charlene contribute significantly to resident satisfaction and the reputation of the building. Since moving to The Alexander, our experience has been nothing but a pleasure! We enjoy the resident activities, the indoor pool, & outdoor spaces, and we know that Kambria is always available to assist if needed. It’s the best apartment experience in the city! Thank you to all of the team that makes it great.

Have lived here a couple years now, nice building, love my apartments layout and the included below ground parking. My favorite aspect of the building though is Charlene, our front desk concierge. She’s a pillar of this building and knows where everything is and how to help any and all, and she does this in the most friendly yet professional way possible. Honestly a huge factor as to why I keep renewing my lease here.

The Alexander is a wonderful place to live with great views of the Philadelphia skyline, terrific building staff and very quiet community in the heart of a busy city. Additionally, Charlene at the front desk is always helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend living here.
