I moved into the building a few years ago, and since the new property management took over about three years ago, things have improved a lot. The events they organize are top-notch, the building is clean, and all the amenities now have new furniture. The management staff is also very responsive and accommodating. Arina, the leasing manager, is especially helpful and always assists me with any questions I have. If you’re looking for a nice, vibrant neighborhood with parks and a river nearby, this is a great place to live. The amenities are excellent, and the units are spacious. I just renewed my lease again and look forward to staying here.

10/10 Highly recommend! My student daughter lives here at The Grand Central and this is the best decision she has made as an adult! From the front desk to the leasing office ( the Russian lady) I forgot her name! Was so sweet! They have such fun events for the residents. I feel so safe when i visit the area is so nice! Walking distance from UIC and my dog loves coming over to get treats from the lobby!!! As a parent I was really scared for my baby to move out on her own and it feels good that I can feel confident in where she lays her head. Front desk lady was so nice and is always welcoming! 10/10 I may just move here myself when my lease is up if my daughter doesn’t mind hahaha 10/10!!!!

I just moved to Chicago, and had looked at a few different apartments. It came down to this one vs. another one nearby, but I ultimately decided to choose this one. Both were great options, but Nancy really helped me feel welcome while I was touring and went the extra mile to make a connection so I followed my heart and chose here. Arina was super helpful answering my questions as well as accommodating that I had such a short notice from the day I toured to the day I moved in just one week later. I've also met a couple of the people at the front desk; Bibi and Simone are really friendly and helpful. My move-in process went super smoothly. I had a couple of maintenance requests, and I am super happy that both were immediately addressed within one day and taken care of. This place is run very professionally. The location is also super convenient, right in the South Loop! There's a lot to do and there's public transport nearby if you want to go anywhere else in the city. Overall, I love living here so far, and I highly recommend it for others considering living in the South Loop.

New management (RPM Living) is absolutely horrible. The previous owners were always reachable and leaved their doors opened for current tenants. I wanted to submit my friends who were looking for new apartments for referral, but I got no answer back from the new management office. Also some of the existing amenities and features have stopped working with absolutely no communication.

I just moved to the Grand Central Apartments in December and I've been very impressed with my experience so far! The amenities are awesome... two gyms, a nice lounge area, work area in the East Tower. I can't wait for the hot tub and pool to open! Additionally, Arina on the leasing staff made my move in super nice and easy for me and quickly answered my long list of questions. Lastly, the people at the front desk always greet me with a smile and nice conversation upon entering and leaving the building. This place truly feels like home!
