I recently toured an apartment at State and Grand and had a great experience. Jason took me on the tour and did an excellent job explaining the community, amenities, and available apartment options. Markel was also very helpful, answering several follow-up questions I had over the phone. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, which made a great first impression. One of my favorite features was the indoor pool—an amazing amenity to have in Chicago, especially during the colder months. The fitness center and outdoor spaces were also impressive and well-maintained. Between the excellent location, outstanding amenities, and the exceptional customer service I received from the team, I am definitely considering making this my next home. Thank you to Jason, Markel, and the entire staff for a wonderful experience.

Excited to sign my third lease here at State and Grand! Absolutely love the management team (Jacob and Haris) as well as the front desk staff (Deja, Cathy and Keith)! I feel spoiled having the in unit laundry and the 4 pipe system, I can control the temperature in my unit all year round. One thing that cannot be beat are the West facing views, we get to relax on our balcony and enjoy amazing sunset views!

I’ve lived here for just over two years and I’m just as happy now as the day I moved in. A big part of that is thanks to the incredible management team. Jamie, now the property manager, is truly deserving of the role. You can tell she genuinely cares about both the residents and the property. Deja, Harris, and their newest team member Jason are all stars in their own ways, and together they help create a community that feels cared for, connected, and welcoming. They are not just responsive and respectful. They also go out of their way to plan events and happy hours that bring residents together and make the building feel like more than just a place to live. As someone born and raised in Chicago, I can confidently say this location has everything you need. It offers the perfect city vibe, Red Line access right outside the front door, and some pretty great views to top it all off. Thank you to the entire management team for everything you do. I am truly grateful to call this place home and look forward to spending more years here.

My wife and I have lived here for nearly 3 years. At first things were great. Friendly and kind front desk team. Pleasant management and maintenance team. Fadil on the maintenance team is the only shining star left of this team. He has made living in this terrible building bearable. In the last year and a half it has become a nightmare. Our apartment has flooded on 4 separate occasions in two different areas with the building saying they have resolved the issue every time. We are paranoid to leave our home unattended because we are afraid it’s going to flood again while we are out. There is a lack of coordination or care in the support offered in this building especially given the absurd amount of money we pay in rent here. There are much nicer buildings that are better managed than what State and Grand are doing. We are counting down the days for our lease to end so we can finally leave. Do not waste your time, money or energy leasing here.
