I have been a resident at Atwater for over 8 years, and am very proud to call this place my "Home". As a developer of multi-family real estate for over 35 years, I have a unique perspective. This building is impeccable and First Class. The management and maintenance staff are always very friendly and on top of things, and frankly, my visitors are very impressed. I am fortunate to be able to live just about anywhere I want, and I choose to call Atwater my HOME!

Was able to spend a weekend in the guest suite of this amazing apartment. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the building was very clean and the views were incredible! 10 out of 10 would definitely stay again!

We’ve been at Atwater for about three years now and just signed our next lease as well. It’s truly been a wonderful experience, and a huge part of that is the amazing staff here. Everyone — from the concierge team to the management office — is always warm, welcoming, and helpful. I especially want to call out Max from the management office, who has been our main point of contact since we moved in in 2023. He’s always responsive, thoughtful, and goes out of his way to help residents. Whether it’s questions, lease renewals, or even helping take care of our plants while we’re away, Max has consistently made us feel comfortable and at home at Atwater. Really grateful for the experience we’ve had here.

We have been living at Atwater Apartments for almost a week now and so far we are loving it. The view from our unit is amazing, the apartment is bright, has good air circulation and well maintained. Staff is super efficient, flexible with things, which is great, welcoming and overall friendly. There is a little bit of noise being close to major hospital but minimal from neighbors. Streeterville is well located neighborhood and very walkable. Building amenities are awesome overall, but I have an improvement opportunity suggestion regarding the business complex, which is currently located near the lobby with one conference room. Perhaps building could look into restructuring one of the areas on level 12 to improve its business facilities shifting it there (there is certainly some space). This would help nowadays (after COVID) with the increase of home office working. Apart from the above the other amenities are great. Gym has a lot of equipment, steam room works well and elevators are fast despite being a considerable height building there is minimal wait normally. Package room system also works well. Very happy and satisfied with our choice to live at Atwater Apartments.

My husband and I toured here and were treated like trash! We arrived on time and were asked to be seated in the lobby. We waited which seemed like forever and finally a woman appears out of nowhere. This lady who showed us around the building had absolutely no clue about the apartments. We would ask her a question and she didn’t know anything. Lack of training. Also, we both experienced an attitude from another woman in the leasing department. We weren’t impressed with their apartments nor their exorbitant prices! We ended up across the street at the Streeter where we are so much happier and treated with the utmost respect and appreciation! With so many other high rise apartments why settle for less? Unfortunately we in good conscience cannot and do not recommend that you consider the Atwater when trying to make an educated decision on where to reside in Chicago. It’s a hard no from us. You’ve been warned folks! Enter at your own risk!!!
