I had a great experience living at 1000 S Clark. Luis and Charity were exceptional and truly helped make the building feel like home. The South Loop location is fantastic, and the lake views are absolutely stunning. One thing that stood out was the community-building events the management team organized, such as the pig roast and the "Dinner with 12 Strangers" event. These were great opportunities to meet neighbors and build connections within the building. I've lived at four RMK-managed properties in Chicago, and they consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness and resident service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. A small but memorable example: Charity always greeted my dog by name before saying hello to me. In a building with more than 400 apartments, that level of personal attention really impressed me. I highly recommend 1000 S Clark to anyone looking for a well-managed apartment community with outstanding staff, a great location, and a strong sense of community.

Love this building! Staff is very helpful, amenities are amazing and the pet services are so handy when traveling for short or long periods! The gym is the best part and I love that the pool is open all year round. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to move here!

I’ve lived here for 2.5 years, and it has been my only city apartment. Let me tell you—I toured probably every building in the South Loop before making my choice. The moment I walked in, I knew this was home. I love the layout of the floor plans and all of the luxury amenities. The building is truly a dream to live in—well maintained, with an incredibly attentive concierge staff. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and very convenient. I love being able to walk just two blocks to my Pilates studio, and you can easily walk to multiple grocery stores. Target being next door is great. The building truly has the best rooftop in the city. Love watching the fireworks in the summer! It’s also a very pet-friendly building for all you furry parents, and if you drive, the attached parking garage is a true flex. The leasing office does an amazing job putting together events—it’s a great way to meet your neighbors and have some fun.

As I approached my two-year anniversary at the building, I thought I'd write a review. Obviously, the location is great. Unlike many places in the South Loop or Printer's Row, you're close to things like Target and the AMC movie theater, as well as several restaurants and coffee shops. The standout quality is that there's a wonderful sense of community. You can engage in meaningful conversations in our elevator or lobby with neighbors who approach the world with kindness and curiosity. In addition, a few tenants have taken it upon themselves to build organizations and groups dedicated to various activities like game nights, Bible study, sports, Spades tournaments, or even just sitting around and enjoying wine with friends like you're on the Real Housewives. If that wasn't enough, the building management has hosted events, including trivia competitions, bingo, murder mystery parties, and viewings of the Super Bowl and Oscars. The amenities are a big selling point: an amazing basketball court, pickleball court, neighborhood bar, newsroom, wine room, co-working space, recently renovated gym, outdoor grill, indoor pool, jacuzzi, package rooms for deliveries, billiards & poker tables, and outdoor deck provide plenty of opportunities to unwind. Likewise, the staff is excellent. The concierges are fantastic—they know everyone's names and are always helpful. The maintenance team is quick and responsive and can address any issues professionally. The leasing office answers questions promptly. The dry cleaners and janitorial crew are an enormous help. Overall, I've enjoyed living here and would recommend it to anyone.

The best place I've ever lived. Sadly, I am having to move out after getting laid off from my job and return to the UK, but 1000 S Clark is an incredible building that I am glad to have called my home for 3 years. The amenities are second to none. It has an incredible gym, pool, hot tub, roof top and amazing amenities throughout. The staff are fantastic and helpful - front desk, maintenance and the management always want to give their best. I will miss this place and cannot recommend it enough.
