I lived here for two years in 2022 & 2023. The staff were always incredibly helpful and nice. The location is pretty good, and will probably get better as the downtown area gets better. When I lived there I had a few things that I don't miss in my new place. I don't miss the "loft style" low walls. If there are multiple people in the same apartment privacy can be an issue and noise too from your roommates. Noise as a whole in the building was pretty good though (like from neighbors, outside etc.). I don't miss the bathtubs. I never really liked the way the bathrooms were setup. I don't miss the parking situation. The lot has tiny spaces and people don't seem to mind opening their doors right into your car. Keeping your car from being dinged up takes some strategic planning. I had one of the apartments facing west with a wall of windows. This was amazing for sunsets! I was taking pictures out my window almost daily. However, in the summer you are going to need to keep the curtains closed most of the day because your apartment will get very warm and the AC wont keep up without closing the curtains. Overall I give it 5 stars because I was treated well, maintenance was always very quick to fix things, and the building is as safe as you are going to find.

I've been living here for 8 months, and I love it here! I have more pride put into this apartment than I have in any other apartment I've lived in. The apartment is spacious, modern, has updated appliances, the location is ideal. I have a nice gym, a large rear patio with a BBQ grill that I can use at my leisure. More importantly the people, the staff! 24 hour concierge staff that is here for any issues that might arise to help take in deliveries etc. The leasing office was extremely helpful throughout the application process. A wonderful sense of community here! I highly recommend The metropolitan Lofts to anyone looking for a comfortable convenient place to live!

What a great place to live! Lilly, Kami and the rest of the staff are just wonderful. We toured many apartment, each one unique and furnished quite well. Looking forward to staying here many months.

This is the best apartment building I have ever lived in. My first year I lived on the 2nd floor facing the Uhaul facility. I renewed my lease and decided to move to the third floor with huge windows and a much better view. The staff is amazing. Suzan always makes you feel at home. Just a sweet sweet lady. All of the others at the front desk are awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I lived at Metro for four years, and overall loved my experience. I would move back today, if it were in the cards. There's lots I could write, but I'll try to keep it as condensed as possible. I lived in Metro before it sold to a corporate company, and the original owner was AMAZING. Lily(the previous owner) and Susanne(the current concierge manager) kept that ship clean, organized, and running SO smoothly. Of course there were others involved, but Lily and Susanne treated the building like their own baby, and were there to accommodate immediately if needed. After Lily sold the building and business, the quality of service immediately went down hill drastically. Susanne is certainly NOT to blame. With any corporations come restrictive rules and guidelines, that end up hurting the very ones they are serving. The quality of tenants went down and the staff was only allowed to do so much, which inevitably left a lower quality of living. That being said, it's still an amazing place to live, just expect things to move slowly if you have any problems. I could write a book about how AMAZING the staff is, to clarify.. the staff that was on board before the sale, and not the leasing staff. The maintenance, cleaning, and concierge staff are truly amazing people, in and out. I will call one specific employee out on how truly amazing they are, and that is Susanne. She truly made living at Metro a true joy. I count myself truly blessed to have been introduced to Susanne, and to call her my friend. She takes her job very seriously, and it shows. Metro would not be Metro without her. She is always willing to go above and beyond for you and your well being. She keeps the concierge desk running like a well oiled machine. During hurricanes, power outages, a pandemic, etc.. she is and was always just a call away to remedy the crisis. She expects her staff to share the same amount of respect for the tenants and their job, which truly shows with the attitudes and service that the concierge desk provides. Even after moving out of Metro, I still make it a point to stop by to say hey to Susanne.. She will leave that sort of impression on your life. The rent was very reasonable, the units are all beautiful, the location isn't great but gives you a sense or privacy with still be close to downtown, the amenities are outdated but sufficient and usually well kept. The professionalism shown by the leasing staff and mgmt is severely lacking, and is the only reason why my review isn't five stars. Again, overall I loved my four years and would absolutely move back!
