Gabby Scherle 2 months agoI moved here as a new transplant to Denver and wanted something near downtown that was highly walkable—but without feeling like I was stuck in a concrete jungle. WestEnd has been absolutely perfect. You’re right on a big park with access to trails along the river, and being a gated community with security made a huge difference—you’re not dealing with a lot of the typical downtown/un-housed population issues. Also worth mentioning: this was the smoothest move-in experience I’ve ever had. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Pros: • Beautiful, updated, and spacious apartments with tons of windows and natural light • Amazing location—super walkable to downtown, LoHi, and Platte Street • Easy to get around with Lime scooters and bikes everywhere • Great amenities: a two-story gym, pool/hot tub, and grills that we actually use often • Maintenance team is incredible—quick, friendly, and reliable • Very dog-friendly community Cons: • no free guest parking (guests have to pay) • Utilities were a bit higher than expected—we averaged around $300/month for a two-bedroom (not including internet) Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you want the best of downtown living without actually feeling like you’re in the middle of the chaos, this is it.
J L 4 months agoDisclosure I have not lived in this apartment because it was not within my budget/the unit I wanted was not available but I had a great experience with the leasing agents, particularly Amanda. She was never pushy and made me feel comfortable exploring the options that fit for me and stayed within the budget I set. I was very impressed with their amenities, monthly events, pet friendliness, and seeming responsiveness to issues faced by residents. The apartment has been around roughly 10 years and at the time of touring, I saw that they were switching over their parking to Parkade in response to visitors parking in assigned spots. I saw that as a good sign of continuous improvements being made. I was informed that the apartment was owned and operated by the staff which I found impressive and promising. Overall I was very excited to potentially live here and had a great time touring the place with Amanda. She was very responsive over email and addressed the many questions I asked her before ultimately deciding it was past my budget currently for which I wasn't shamed at all. I have friends who have lived here for 4 years and can see how this would be a good transition for apartment dwellers before buying a home. Location was extremely central to multiple neighborhoods and had a great view of the downtown skyline while still being separated by the river and park.
Carly Coltvet a month agoRecently had a maintenance issue come up — Guy is ALWAYS awesome and gave us a call as quick as he could to walk us through next steps (which was above and beyond for this specific request) and asap on Monday morning, Grant came to fix the apartments issue. My dog was scared and barking but he totally rode the wave and gave her a treat to help her be more comfortable, which again, is above and beyond what he’s coming here to do! Thank you to the maintenance team!✨💙
Mike Jones 5 months agoWhere to begin. Horrible staff team. Lived here for 2 years. Maintenance always took weeks to get things done. When they do get it done its so half assed ghat you would of thought a6 year old did it and the peoblem is still broken or not fixed. The staff in the office is fake and rude. As soon as you leave the room they gossip about your personal life and Buisness with them to others that are not part of the team. Oh yes friends that were waiting behind us that the staff didnt know we're friends with us said they gossiped about our personal living and what building we were in. You asked them to get things done around the community to better the community and they ignore you completely for months at a time. I was gone for 2 months and my water and electric bill was still the same price. How is that possible when im not even home and nothing is plugged in. The gate at the front is alway broken and theres always homeless people breaking into cars and stealing stuff. They also sleep in the corners of the buildings. The security on staff just sits in the office at night on the phone watching TikTok and doesn't even make there rounds sometimes. What are we paying these people for? They up your rent by like 150% every year that you live here even though the last 3 years in Denver rent is going down. We showed you we were loyal for 2 years and didnt miss a payment. You should be thanking were not living on section 8 and not paying our rent and making your lives more difficult to collect rent money. Move anywhere else but here. Oh dont forget you pay for parking but they over sell on parking spots and then you get towed because you have to park in no parking zones until a spot opens up. Lol. Biggest lawsuit there about to encounter.
Austin Riesgraf 3 months agoI lived here for two years and, overall, the apartment itself was decent. Unfortunately, the move-out experience completely changed my view of this property. I was hit with unexpected charges, additional rent claims, and even received collection calls for amounts that were not legitimately owed. To make matters worse, these disputed charges were reported to my credit, forcing me to spend significant time and effort correcting the issue. This experience felt incredibly disorganized at best and predatory at worst. I strongly recommend documenting everything carefully and reviewing all charges in detail if you choose to live here. Proceed with caution when dealing with Centerspace.
