As a resident here i have to say this place is not worth it. The amenities are constantly broken and security doesnt exist. I called the office to report unsupervised kids destroying the pool. They dont live here either. The office did nothing and neither did the security number i called. The pool just reopened after being closed for almost a month. I dont feel comfortable or Safe knowing people can sneak onto our property and destroy it with nothing to be done.

Avoid Luxe at all costs — and do not rely on the misleading & fake positive reviews. I’ve never written a review before, but after living at Luxe for five years (since the year it opened), I felt compelled to share my experience. It’s clear many of the glowing reviews are not reflective of the reality. When Luxe opened under its original management, it was a great place to live. Unfortunately, after the property was sold, the building began to decline significantly. Below are the recurring issues I personally experienced in the years leading up to my move-out. Noise & Safety Issues: The walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything your neighbors say or do. I witnessed multiple violent domestic disputes between residents. Many fob entry points remain broken or damaged for months or even years, compromising safety. Garage doors break frequently and often go un-repaired for months. Compromising safety. The package room door has been broken for nearly a year, and I had several packages stolen with no resolution. Elevators previously had cameras, but they were repeatedly tampered with and removed. Onsite security was replaced with “virtual security,” which is equivalent to having no security at all. I was followed into the garage by another car one night, called virtual security, and nothing was done. There are consistently non-residents/homeless individuals finding a way into the building and testing door handles to see if doors are left unlocked (perhaps due to all of the broken exterior door locks). Maintenance & Code Concerns: Significant water damage and mold issues throughout the building. One of my units repeatedly smelled of water damage during rain or snow melt. Water damage behind my microwave caused electrical issues, and maintenance dismissed it because the wall was “dry” at the moment they checked. Flooding occurs in the garage elevator lobbies whenever it rains or snow melts, with water pouring from the ceiling and seams around the elevator. This has gone on for years. Elevators often stop working during these episodes, and visible rust has formed. Management’s “solution” was to place heat lamps in the lobby — a likely code violation. Water pressure has been unreliable for the past year, even after management claimed it was resolved. A broken fire extinguisher box has remained unfixed for over a year (another likely code violation). The fire alarm system has malfunctioned since the building opened. It frequently goes off without cause, to the point that many residents ignore it. It has also been pulled by residents in the middle of the night. Cleanliness & Building Conditions: The dog park turf is never maintained and constantly smells. There were cases of dogs getting Parvo from it. Residents often do not clean up after their dogs, and hallways regularly smell like sewage and defecation. At one point, management put Glade plug-ins in the hallways to mask the odor. Management & Operational Issues: Management became extremely difficult to work with in recent years. I had to correct mistakes on my rent bill nearly every month due to errors or overcharges. Emergency maintenance is essentially nonfunctional. When the electronic lock system removed access to my unit one evening/morning, I could not lock my door. Emergency maintenance took an hour to respond, replaced a battery without communicating, and left without fixing the issue. I missed a flight the morning it occured because I couldn’t secure my apartment, costing me $500 to move my flight. Management offered no resolution and stated they could not assist until the office reopened. Unfortunately, this is only a fraction of the issues and apparent code violations happening at Luxe. The plummeting unit prices speaks volumes for an only 5 year old building. I truly hope the building improves, but based on my experience, I would warn anyone considering living here to look elsewhere.

I had a great experience living at Luxe MileHigh for the past 15 months. The building itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and the location in Denver is hard to beat—close to everything while still feeling like home. What really made the experience stand out, though, was Cory Johnson and his team. It was clear there was a positive shift in the culture during my time there. Cory and his staff were consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about the resident experience. Any request or concern I had was addressed quickly, which made a huge difference and gave me real peace of mind. It’s not often you find a property management team that combines responsiveness with authentic customer service, but Cory and his team absolutely delivered. Thank you for making my time at Luxe MileHigh such a positive one. I would absolutely recommend Luxe MileHigh to anyone looking for a great place to live in Denver.

First, the front office staff and maintenance/groundskeeping crews are incredible. Together, they're the best property management group I've ever rented from—five stars for the staff. Unfortunately, the residents we share this space with are disgusting. Many of my neighbors have no respect for the property or the people living here. The best example is the dog poop situation. There's a wonderful little dog park in the parking lot of the main building. It is constantly covered in dog poop. I'm adding photos from last night (1/26/2026). Shockingly, this isn't the worst it's been, but it's getting worse on average. Property management has stated the situation is beyond their control. We get community etiquette reminder emails, but those do nothing to correct the issue. If you have dogs, you need to know about this. The woman who picks up after the disgusting, lazy residents contributing to this problem needs a raise immediately. I don't know what she's being paid, but it's not enough. There are also several highly aggressive dogs in the community. We've been lucky so far, but I've spoken to multiple residents whose dogs were attacked at the same park. Make sure you're prepared to protect yourself or your pets. Other issues include: 1. Residents can't drive safely in the parking garage. 2. Residents constantly damage the entrance/exit gates to the parking garage, leaving them inoperable. 3. Residents are destroying the interior finishes of the public spaces. 4. Residents order grocery delivery and leave it to rot in the package room. 5. Residents smoke all over the property. And so on. We desperately need a higher standard enforced for everyone who coexists here respectfully. This is a wonderful place to live short-term, but it isn't a long-term home. I hope this review allows at least one potential renter to make an informed decision. I'll come back periodically to update it if the situation improves.

My husband and I have really enjoyed living at Lux at Mile High. The front desk staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the owner has consistently been kind and great to work with. Our apartment has been clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and any maintenance requests have been handled quickly. They are always willing to listen to the tenants when they have questions or concerns or suggestions, and always approach it in a respectful and professional manner. We also love the location since it’s so close to downtown Denver while still feeling like a great place to come home to. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience and we’re very happy living here.
