The Oak is definitely one of the most enjoyable living experiences I've had in San Francisco. The interior design of the building is gorgeous, clean, modern, and well-executed. It's like entering a sanctuary when walking through the lobby from the street. The views from the rooftop decks of downtown San Francisco and Twin Peaks are simply breathtaking. It's the people, however, that truly make The Oak stand out – Jeff and Ryan go beyond typical property management; they work hard to create a sense of community, which is hard to find in a building of this size. The front desk and security personnel are also very friendly, the kind of staff that remembers your name and attend to the door when your unloading groceries. The location in Hayes Valley continues to improve as well, with excellent dining and arts right at your doorstep. I would highly recommend The Oak.

I really enjoyed living at The Oak and only moved out because I relocated to a different city. The building itself is excellent—modern, clean, and consistently well-maintained. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, from the common areas to the apartments, and it genuinely feels like a high-quality place to live. Management and the staff are a standout. They’re incredibly friendly, professional, and always quick to help whenever something comes up, which makes day-to-day living noticeably easier and more pleasant. The apartments are bright, comfortable, and finished with higher-end materials, which adds to the overall sense of quality and comfort. Overall, The Oak is a fantastic place to live in San Francisco, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely loved this apartment! The modern appliances, convenient trash chute on each floor, two elevators, and thoughtful unit layout made daily life so much easier. The abundant closet space, in-unit air conditioning, washer and dryer, and intercom system for guests and deliveries were all fantastic features. The package delivery system was also incredibly convenient. There is parking onsite, but I preferred the save a little money and get a monthly membership over at the Performing Arts Garage, it’s a quick walk through Hayes and would get to see the liveliness of the neighborhood. Very close to Trader Joe’s and other little markets, restaurants, and bars. I especially loved being next to the Van Ness metro station. Jeff and Ryan do an incredible job running the building. They’re responsive and show a level of care that’s unmatched compared to other apartment buildings I’ve experienced. The security team is equally outstanding. Both the apartment staff and security remember your name and are genuinely nice people. I felt more like a valued guest than just another tenant. The building is remarkably quiet. I’ve never heard a neighbor. I never had a single issue with my apartment during my time there. This was honestly the best apartment I’ve ever lived in, especially thanks to the exceptional team. The only reason I’m moving is to get closer to my job in south bay and leave downtown, not because of any problems with the apartment. If I ever move back to the area, I’d love to live here again. Lived at the Oak SF for a year, it’s quite an awesome building with quality furnishings. Great gym, office space, and coffee/snacks in the common space. The management team is incredible, either phone call, email, in-person, they’re always there to support you. Location is convenient to everything you might need, close to Hayes, and transit to anywhere from Van Ness station. Highly recommend this building if you’re looking for a premium apartment.

I really enjoyed living at The Oak. The building is great—modern, clean, and well taken care of. Management and the staff are super friendly and always quick to help if you need anything, which made a huge difference. The location is hard to beat. Hayes Valley is just a short walk away for restaurants, shops, and coffee, and with MUNI right there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without hassle. The apartments themselves are bright and comfortable with higher-end finishings. Overall, The Oak is a great place to live in San Francisco—I’d definitely recommend it.
