Nadeem Sarie-Eldin 3 months agoI have truly had such a positive experience living at Avalon Hayes Valley. The building itself is beautiful, cozy and very well maintained, and the location honestly could not be better - everything you need is within walking distance, from cafes and restaurants to gyms and shops! There is always a sense of life in the area, which I really enjoy. What makes this place especially special, though, is the people. Tori, the Sales and Service Supervisor, is absolutely wonderful - she is incredibly kind, responsive and genuinely caring! She goes above and beyond to support residents and brings such a warm and positive energy to the building. Dina is also always so friendly and helpful whenever I see her or ask a question. I have also really appreciated the sense of community here. The events organized by the team and things like food trucks create such a fun and lively atmosphere! It makes the building feel like more than just a place to live. Anytime I have needed maintenance, the team has been quick and responsive, which gives a real sense of ease and reliability. Overall, living here has felt very comfortable and supported. I genuinely feel lucky to be here and very grateful for the team that makes it what it is.
Ethan Wilensky a month agoIf I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. Drove THREE HOURS to look at apartments here, and the night before our 10am tour we get a random text saying the tour was cancelled. No reason. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. Just a casual “yeah, never mind” after we’d already burned a tank of gas, booked a place to stay, and rearranged our entire weekend around this. When we finally managed to get a human on the phone (which took FOREVER, by the way), the woman we spoke to sounded completely clueless. She had no idea what we were talking about, couldn’t tell us why the tour was cancelled, couldn’t offer to reschedule, couldn’t do ANYTHING. It was like talking to a brick wall that occasionally said “ummm” and “let me check on that.” Do these people understand that touring an apartment is a real commitment for prospective tenants? We don’t just show up on a whim. the absolute LEAST you can do, is give people more than 12 hours notice if you’re going to bail on them. Better yet, don’t bail at all. If this is how they treat people who are literally trying to give them money to live there, I cannot IMAGINE what it would be like to actually be a tenant dealing with a maintenance request or a real problem. Hard pass. Save yourself the time, the gas, and the frustration. There are plenty of other places in SF that won’t treat you like garbage before you’ve even walked through the door. AVOID.
Kayvon Di Vinccenzo a month agoThis place is beautiful! Scheduled a tour about a week ago but was not able to make it so I stopped by on the fly and was greeted with a warm welcome. I was able to see the place though there weren’t any apartments available to see. Will definitely like to come back to see the units when available!
Josh Valdez 2 months agoLived here for a year. Great location! I really appreciate the parking garage, Amazon locker and rooftop common area. Tori in the leasing office is extremely friendly and helpful. So glad she is on the staff!
Mona Ascha 2 months agoI put in an application for an apartment, and was charged an application fee. A few minutes after submitting it, I was emailed that my application was cancelled. It was never processed or viewed by anyone but I was still charged the fee. My attempts to contact the leasing office have been unsuccessful, as all of the contact means are AI generated and unable to help me solve my problem. Because of this experience, I will not be dealing with these people. I think the initial touch point with the management company is highly indicative of what it would be like to live here.
