Cat Steele 8 months agoUPDATE: photo added in case you're wondering what our windows look like as of 11/8 Chorus has some great amenities, residents, and opportunities for growth. Unfortunately, the building has new management who seem hell-bent on removing what was previously working well while struggling to handle the absolute basics. Everyone's windows are grimy, having gone from a 2x/year cleaning schedule to zero. Community events and culture / art classes that used to take place multiple times a month have all but disappeared. The local fitness trainer who everyone in the building knows and loves was suddenly and secretly removed without notice. One has to check bills like a hawk every month because incorrect charges like 2x rent will randomly appear. It's getting hard to ignore the dysfunction when it's literally so in-your-face.
Gordon Li 4 months agoThis is by all means a luxury apartment building. Best pool/gym combination you'd probably ever see in an apartment building. There's a roof lounge that looks like a Restoration Hardware and a party room/speakeasy and outdoor patio that are amazing common areas. Before private equity took over management had a generous budget for social events. Art classes, puppy yoga, mediation sessions, drag brunches, holiday parties, sports watch parties, road field trips, Tahoe trips, wine valley trips, kayaking, booze cruises, trivia nights, pride events, random sponsored events, stripper parties, full bar in the lobby and pool parties. Every weekend there was a crazy pool party. Hate them or love them, you'd probably have a blast at one and had a horrible hangover the next day. It's quieter now, but thats not always a bad thing. Everyone that works here are super professional and friendly. Work orders get taken care right away. The area around the Muni stop is hit or miss on level of sketchiness. The grills always work now. Smells less vomity. You'll probably be more sober now. Still super pet friendly. Coffee from the cafe downstairs is legit. A lot less high school drama. It's like America pre-Trump days, things were good back then. It's not as nice now but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Justine Rizzuto 4 months agoI just completed my move into Chorus, and the entire experience has been absolutely seamless. I’ve lived in many buildings previously, but the white-glove treatment here is unmatched. Izzy gave me my initial tour, and it was so personable and special—it really made the building feel like home before I even signed. Marissa went above and beyond by checking in with me multiple times before, during, and after my move to ensure every detail was taken care of. From the first tour to finalizing the lease, the level of service has been incredible. The building is incredibly lucky to have them both on the team!
Fabián Chernizky 6 months agoI lived at chorus for more than 3 years, from mid 2022 to late 2025. Pros: Nice building, good taste, friendly and responsive staff. Great amenities and views. We used to have Barry's-like gym classes for free by a highly proficient trainer. Units used to be more affordable than what comparable buildings would ask for - in a nutshell, great value. I personally liked the switch from a downstairs bar to a high-quality coffee shop. While the location didn't really have much to offer, it was well connected and easy to get to almost anywhere in San Francisco in 20 minutes or less with public transit or walking. Even though a few things have changed, I am optimistic about the current management as they learn the ropes. Cons: As some people mentioned, there were a few issues with the transition to new management and prioritization of some things that should be a no-brainer (e.g. window cleaning) but those are minor in my opinion. My main complaint though is with the quality of some of the neighbors in this building who act too entitled (both in their tone and their actions) simply because they pay rent... For example, the building has a really nice dog park where you can have your pet relieve itself and the building provides bags even though there's no obligation for them to do so. Unfortunately, many neighbors wouldn't pick up after their dogs, which I think was very unfair to the janitorial staff.
Wali Raja 3 years agoI recently moved into this apartment building, and I am thoroughly impressed with the level of service and quality of living that this community provides. From the moment I first inquired about availability (thanks Ben), the leasing team was friendly, informative, and accommodating. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciate the attention to detail and the high-end finishes throughout the unit. The building amenities are also top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center + Ninja Warrior training circuit, a beautiful pool area, and a spacious resident lounge. There is a public bar and working spaces, which have been incredibly convenient. What truly sets this community apart, however, is the level of service provided by the management and maintenance teams (special thanks to Angel for being on his A game with packages). They are always available to address any concerns or issues that arise and are quick to respond to maintenance requests. I feel truly valued as a resident and appreciate the efforts management makes to ensure that we are comfortable and happy in our homes. One of the things I love about living here is the sense of community that the building fosters. The management team organizes regular resident events, such as a wine tour in Napa Valley and a Tahoe ski trip, which have been a great way to meet my neighbors and explore the area (special thanks to Davidson). These events are always well-planned and executed, and it's clear that the team puts a lot of thought and effort into making them enjoyable for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking for a high-quality living experience with exceptional service and a strong sense of community in San Francisco. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do!
