I came here for a tour and decided not to lease here. The units are modern but have small, unimpressive windows with limited light. The rooftop has great views. The lobby is small with limited space. The entire building uses Latch to access shared spaces and units so it’s heavily phone dependent. The space around the building is kind of empty & gives warehouse feels, but you reach Mission Bay in ~15 min walk.

I moved out of Alta Potrero after six years of living in this lovely community. Besides kudos to all the staff, I want to give a special shout-out to our longtime maintenance manager, Miguel. He is hands-down the best part of living here! Whether it's a routine fix or an emergency, Miguel is incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents. He doesn’t just 'patch' things; he fixes them right the first time and always leaves the home cleaner than he found it. It’s rare to find someone so skilled and friendly. He makes this community a much better place to live and is the reason I want to stay with Greystar for my future homes.

Been here about a year and have been really impressed overall. I had heard horror stories about Greystar in general but this building seems to be an exception to the norm. Apartments are generally high quality and any maintenance requests have been handled really fast. Front desk staff is friendly and easy to get a hold of. Amenities are in generally good condition and the building is well-kept. Location is mellow, family-friendly, and sunny! I do wish we didn’t have to use Latch for apartment and elevator access but it’s a minor annoyance.

Living at Alta Potrero has been a wonderful experience! The apartments are modern, comfortable, and well-designed, and the amenities make daily life so convenient. The staff is always friendly, professional, and responsive, which makes a huge difference. It truly feels like home, and I’m grateful for the welcoming community here.

Good experience overall and I think it's a good place to live if you can afford it Positive - Modern units and nice club room & roof with good views, recent construction - Prices did not rise much after 1 year compared to market, despite being not rent-controlled. Prices are crazy around here in general - Responsive and helpful maintenance staff, immediately resolved all issues I had every time - Units have air conditioning - Area is easy for guests to park in, accessible by highway and reasonably safe (police station is across the street also). On the flip side, the neighborhood is kind of warehousey/feels like a ghost town Negative - All packages are placed together in some mail room (organized by floor, sometimes on the floor) rather than luxer or similar service. While this saves the luxer fee, it can be time-consuming to find your package. Would be better if the building can find a better solution for packages, imo - My unit (studio) is quite small and dark, with some ventilation issues, requiring me to air out by leaving the front door open sometimes. It is relatively cheap though. May not apply to other units. This is the main reason I am moving out - as I am looking to upgrade to a 1bd - [nit] Coffee in club room was out a lot of the time and wifi was also down several times. May have improved in recent months
