This apartment building has arguably the best amenities of any apartment building in all of San Diego. It has everything you could ask for — Outdoor theater, rooftop pool, lounge, dog park and fully equipped gym. Not to mention, they are located right in the heart of little Italy, within close proximity to some of the best spots to grab a bite or drink. We were so excited to see this place when we booked our tour. They did not disappoint! We had the pleasure of touring the property with Anna — She was so friendly and very detailed to make sure we found the perfect unit. On move in day, we met with Doug Dunbar, who went above and beyond to make sure we had all the info we needed to get settled into our new home. You can tell that he truly cares about making each resident feel comfortable! Excited to start this new chapter at Luma!

I moved into Luma Apartments last September, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving back to San Diego. From day one, the entire team has gone above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive community. Lilly and Doug are always incredibly helpful and never make you feel like you’re taking up their time, they genuinely care. Gabby is an absolute angel, and Claudia from Resident Services is a true gem. I’ve had many late conversations with her, and she is always so genuine, kind, and willing to listen. My family met her when I first moved in, and they still ask about her and that says everything. The entire team is amazing and really makes this place feel like home. Beyond the beautiful amenities, I’ve met some great friends here, and that sense of community is something I’ll always appreciate. Thank you Luma , you rock!

Living at Luma Apartments has truly exceeded every expectation. From the beautifully designed amenities to the overall atmosphere, every detail feels thoughtfully curated to create a refined and elevated living experience. The sense of community here is something special — it’s rare to find a place where neighbors are both welcoming and respectful, contributing to an environment that feels both vibrant and comfortable. What truly distinguishes Luma, however, is the exceptional team. Claudia at the front desk is outstanding — consistently professional, warm, and incredibly attentive. She goes above and beyond for residents, anticipating needs and ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Her presence alone enhances the entire living experience. Lilly and Doug in management are equally impressive. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine care for residents reflect a level of service that is uncommon and deeply appreciated. Luma is more than just a residence — it’s a thoughtfully managed community where quality, service, and experience are clearly a priority. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly elevated place to call home.

My partner and I toured quite a few luxury buildings including Simone before we landed at Luma. We immediately fell in love and Lexi provided an exceptional tour, listening to our desires and not wasting any time showing us the perfect apartment right off the bat. We applied and happily living in our dream apartment. Happy to be able to call this place home. Highly recommend and ask for Lexi!

Living in Luma has been lovely! The location is perfect, amenities are great, and staff is all friendly and helpful. Lexi, Claudia, and Gabby all offer such a comforting presence and are easy to go to should i need help with anything. Having lived in 3 different buildings around downtown in the last 5 years, this is by far my favorite apartment ive ever had.
