Leslie W 2 months agoI moved here in late 2023 and am very happy with this location. The manager Dylan is fantastic. He replaced a manager that no one cared for and did a poor job. Dylan is very personable, he is extremely responsive, he knows everyone's name that lives here and he will go the extra mile if there is an issue. When my lease came up in Nov. 2025, Dylan was one of the main reasons I choose to extend my lease. The neighbors are super friendly, the place is quiet, you must love dogs because there are several well-behaved dogs that live here. We are in a pocket of Little Italy that is relatively quiet even though we are 1 block over from the Saturday Farmer's Market. I feel like our building is a community within the Little Italy community.
Emily Rupert 5 months ago1810 is such a great place to live! It’s small enough to feel like a boutique apartment and recognize your neighbors (even though it's managed by Greystar), but big enough to have an awesome lobby, rooftop, hot tub, and parking. All of the staff is super friendly + goes above and beyond to help (especially Dylan). My apartment layout had a good amount of storage, the walls are thick, and the building is quiet and very clean. They also host fun events for residents around the holidays. And my favorite part is that they've been leaving donuts out for us on Saturday mornings - the best!
Fabian Lebrija 5 months agoHands down the best apartment complex in San Diego! The property is clean, quiet, and very well maintained. Plus the management team is amazing. Dylan is far beyond nice, patient and knowledgeable. Great amenities, friendly neighbors, and a location that makes everything easy. I would absolutely take 1810 State to anyone looking for a great living experience. Thank you Dylan!!
Agassi Bagramyan 2 months agoIf you are living here, you being exposed to mold. There was a flooding back in 2019 that flooded almost the entire building. I moved there about a year and a half after the flooding. I got sick during the year I lived there and a friend of mine I ran into last year also told me him and his wife were having a myriad of health problems from living at 1810. There is no way proper remediation was done as the time between the flooding and moving residents back in was not long enough to completely and properly remediate the entire building. If you live here, please get yourself and your apartment checked. If you are looking to move in here, do not as you will most likely end up with health issues. The property was condemned by the city of San Diego and somehow that was reversed. The condemnation information has also been removed from the internet, probably the owners/management had some influence, since that article is nowhere to be found now. If your health is sensitive, have had past health issues, currently experiencing issues with your health, please do not move here. This place got me really sick. This building should have been completely gutted and redone.
Agnes Sokol 6 months agoReally pretty building, and solid leasing manager as well. I really like Greystar communities and today was reminded of why. Went to take a look as I’ll be selling my home and want to rent for a year in the city before committing to another purchase to test the waters and was impressed by the location, the floor plans, the insane city and marina views and how clean and tidy the building and units are. Their prices seem reasonable especially with the specials they are running which are listed on their website. Also, props to Dylan for being super well-informed on his buildings and others in the area and a pleasure to tour with. Good vibes for the win as I appreciate folks who aren’t too pushy. Don’t we all? 😎 I thought the location may be a little too hectic for me but am now more open to exploring options in Little Italy.
