Shout out to the AMAZING & PHENOMENAL staff at Salt River Flats. Ever since we moved in last month it's been one thing after another going wrong yet each and every time the staff is proactive and promptly gets things fixed and repaired immediately. I don't even have to call in or stop by to remind them because they are on top of it before I can even say anything. Stefania is a wonderful, warm and efficient manager. Edith is a great compliment/assistance to SRF and our community. Both of the ladies have been great in ALWAYS taking such excellent care of their residents. Now the maintenance guys, Jeremy & Skip, have been on top of ensuring that everything is in working order for us here in our unit. I truly value and appreciate the work ethics and support that each one of them individually contribute to making our living at SRF more comfortable, safer, and enjoyable. Thank you Stef, Edith, Jeremy, Skip & the hardworking groundsman!! You ALL have made our stay here much more welcoming, peaceful and happy.

They need to hire ground keepers to clean the apartment steps and grounds. I know these are supposed to be affordable housing, but that does not mean not putting any effort into cleaning the steps and floors of the apartment buildings more often. I lived here since they opened, and they only Power washed the steps once. Overall, the inside of the apartments are nice and spacious.

Large floor plans, with walk in pantry closet in kitchen. Front office lady Edith if I remember correctly was very resourceful and helpful.

Applying here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! The manager is amazing, she was very professional, patient and resourceful. The units themselves are very well maintained, very nice with upgraded appliances. I advise that if you’re looking into these apartments to just get to it and apply!

Pros: Beautiful inside the homes and spacious. OFFICE Staff nice. Cons: Can’t use the gym unless the office is open or the other piece of the office space that was supposed to have been made for residents. The maintenance man that cleans the pool cleans up other people's trash when it gets messy by the dumpsters. I’m pretty sure is the one that takes care of the gardening grounds. He does a great job, but it should be at least another helping with all that. Especially the pool weekly. Still no key to the pool. Loud neighbors, kids not being supervised at all, trying to start fights with other neighborhood kids. Very thin walls in these apartments. Outside floors need to be pressure washed monthly; everything seems too stick to this type of concrete, especially right outside the doors. Lastly, I thought these were affordable housing apartments and recently got a notice that there will be a RENT increase in 30 Days because somehow the surrounding area's INCOME has gone up or something about allowance. Which I’m pretty sure has nothing to do with the working people in this community that are making the same wage or less than when they qualified for these affordable apartments in the hood. The stability of families will be affected by this. I never had to experience a rent increase in six months of living anywhere, and so last minute. That’s what renewals are for, and me signing a contract that states the amount specifically. Provision should be against the law when stating affordable housing programs to people in urban communities on applications unless an amount is stated in the agreement. It's simply just false advertising.
