Patsy 4 weeks agoI would strongly advise anyone considering this apartment community to look elsewhere. At first I wasn’t going to leave a review but management knows full well what my last year and a half was like living at these apartments. And yet still decided to withhold most of my deposit. Know that I should be compensated for the things that I had to endure! But since Kiara decided not to respond to my last email… My experience here was one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. Throughout my residency, I dealt with mold, roaches, poor maintenance, security concerns, and unresponsive management. The mold issue became so severe that it spread onto my personal belongings, including furniture and shoes. I experienced health issues for months before realizing mold was growing throughout my apartment and affecting my belongings. I have photographs documenting the damage. I also dealt with a major roach infestation. Pest control placed sticky traps in my unit, and by the next morning they were covered with roaches. I have photos documenting the infestation. This was not an occasional pest sighting—it was an ongoing problem that significantly impacted my living conditions. The apartment itself was poorly maintained. Flooring and baseboards were separating, chipping, and deteriorating throughout the unit. Security was another major issue. My vehicle was stolen from the property after an individual was able to enter through a broken gate. Following the theft, management repeatedly delayed my access to security footage. I was first told I needed a police report number, and after providing that, I was then told I needed a physical copy of the report before footage could be reviewed. Because of these delays, I spent several days not knowing whether my vehicle had been towed or stolen before finally learning what had happened. What was especially concerning was seeing security personnel sitting in the lobby watching videos on their phones rather than actively patrolling the property shortly after my vehicle was stolen. If you are considering Building 2, be prepared for frequent elevator outages. There is only one elevator, and it was regularly out of service during my residency. The common areas, lobby, and elevator were also frequently dirty, with trash, spills, and debris left unattended. To add to my fustration, I was originally allowed to move in without a security deposit, but later was required to pay one after already living at the property. After everything I experienced during my residency, a significant portion of my deposit was withheld at move-out. I was charged for items such as sheetrock and stove-related issues, and when I later emailed management seeking clarification regarding additional charges that appeared months after I moved out, I never received a response. The most disappointing part of this experience was the lack of communication and concern from management. Time and time again, serious issues were either inadequately addressed or met with little urgency. No resident should have to choose between living with mold, living with roaches, or worrying whether their car will still be there in the morning.
Anish Gollamudi 4 months agoI won’t lie, some of the reviews are scary but, in truth, skyline at midtown is a pretty nice place. It is well kept and clean. But on top of all that, the GM, Vanessa, was absolutely AMAZING!!!! One of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with on my tenant journey. Truth be told, I had a few initial issue but Vanessa was able to help me figure everything out and now I’m in a very affordable and quality apartment. Hats off to Vanessa and her team. Cheers.
Mahir Sayeed 2 months agoThis has been the SMOOTHEST, EASIEST move I have ever made. After 6 different apartments, this is the one that feels like a forever home. Vanessa was incredible as a leasing specialist, and Judy truly has set unbelievably high expectations and still manages to exceed them at every step of the process. This is not your normal managment team or manager, this is a cut above all the rest. The view is the cherry-on-top. I can sleep easy knowing that I am in good hands. Special note is maintenance, Sam may be new to the property but he is the best, most professional maintenance manager I have experienced at any property. WRH could use this property as a blueprint on exactly how any modern residential community could be run. Excited for the upcoming property modernization and upgrades!
Jayla Lee 4 months agoFrank is absolutely amazing! He is professional, reliable, and always gets the job done right the first time. He responds quickly to maintenance requests and makes sure everything is fixed properly and efficiently. On top of that, he’s super nice and friendly, and takes his time. Never disappoints!!
Anthony Meadows 4 months agoI’ve been living at Skyline for the past couple years, and it’s truly better now than ever before! Since our new property manager, Judy Sauceda, joined the team, there’s been such a positive change. She’s responsive, sincere, and genuinely attentive to residents’ concerns, which has been incredibly refreshing. We’ve seen so many great upgrades under her leadership, and her enthusiasm really shows. She’s always a pleasure to run into and brings such positive energy to the community. No complaints!!
