Antionette Morris 2 months agoI would strongly caution anyone considering living here, especially families with children. I understood before moving in that the area would be noisy, so that was not my main concern. What I did not expect was to be moved into a filthy apartment at move in. When I reached out for help, Ashley was dismissive and had an attitude instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally. The safety concerns only got worse during my time there. Around Thanksgiving, a homeless man was roaming the hallways and knocking on doors at 7 AM. Thankfully my front door was locked. Homeless individuals were also frequently hanging around in the parking garage, which made the environment feel unsafe. The final straw was when someone literally shot through my wall , into the unit where I lived with my two toddlers. Instead of treating this serious incident with urgency, management basically told me there was nothing they could do and that it was not a valid reason to terminate my lease. Their “repair” was simply covering the hole with a mesh patch and painting over it, rather than properly fixing damage that came all the way from outside. To make matters worse, after all of this they are now trying to charge me move out fees for “damages.” My experience here was stressful, unsafe, and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a secure and professionally managed place to live.
Derrick Williams 4 months agoI normally don’t leave or update reviews, but future renters deserve to know what they may be dealing with. I had been living at this property less than six months when my apartment was damaged by a leak from the unit above mine in early October. As of February, repairs have taken over four months to complete, with multiple missed completion dates and constantly shifting timelines. During this time, my unit was partially unusable, including having no functional kitchen, which forced me to rely on eating out. Management repeatedly provided inaccurate repair timelines, later admitting that the timelines they shared were incorrect. Communication was extremely poor — emails and messages often went unanswered unless I escalated the issue. Due to the lack of progress and communication, I was forced to involve the Houston Apartment Association (HAA) just to receive updates and get movement on the situation. In writing, management stated they were “actively working on rent concessions, fee adjustments, and care packages” due to the hardship caused. Despite multiple follow-ups over the months, no clear resolution or follow-through ever occurred, and communication faded as repairs continued to drag on. The primary solution offered throughout was to move units, rather than properly restore my apartment in a reasonable timeframe or address the disruption caused. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially so early into my lease. Prospective residents should seriously consider how prolonged maintenance issues are handled here.
Khari Frazier a month agoI officially moved in on May 2nd and am very grateful to finally be settled into my new apartment in Midtown. I’m excited to have my own space and overall I’m happy with the outcome and experience. I do want to provide honest feedback for future residents. I was originally expected to move in before the 30th, but due to a few communication delays and timing issues throughout the process, my move-in timeline changed multiple times. It went from moving in around the 9th, to the 20th, then the 30th, and I ultimately moved in on May 2nd. The process itself could definitely be stressful at times because there were moments where I had to follow up frequently and wait on updates. That being said, Dominique continued working with me throughout the process and helped get everything finalized. I appreciated the patience and willingness to work with me as things came together. Despite the bumps along the way, I’m thankful everything worked out and I’m excited to officially call this place home. The skyline view definitely made it worth it!
Kassidy Len 2 weeks agoThe management team at this property was very friendly, professional, and quick to address any questions or concerns that I had. I am looking to move in from out of state and the tour was one of the best that I’ve had in the area. Taryn specifically was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this property.
Tiffany West 4 months agoOmg I just loved Taryn the manager. She was so informative during the tour. I look forward to being a resident just because of her. Most managers that I have come across during my search are rude and don’t want to be bothered but not her was literally the best.
