Johnnie Benson 4 months agoI’ve really loved living at The Crosby and I’m honestly sad to leave. The building is always super clean and well taken care of — you can tell management really stays on top of things. The amenities are great and actually make a difference day to day, especially the co worker space and Amazon lockers. The property is pretty secure with security always on call and a secure garage. The leasing staff is also amazing — friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever you need anything. Overall, it’s been a great experience and I’d definitely recommend living here!
Robby Swiech 2 weeks agoI'm not a resident, but a real estate agent who has referred multiple clients to apartments at The Crosby. Fatimah and the office there are lovely, honest, and help make things happen fairly and in order. If you want to live in East Dallas, around Deep Ellum, or work/attend Baylor, this is a great apartment option :)
Shaanacee Wilson 3 months agoI have lived at the Crosby since moving to DTX three years ago, through highs and lows, and can honestly say that with the current leasing team, I’ll be here a lot longer! When I first moved here, the staff was amazing and truly treated the Crosby like a community. However, through staff changes over the years, that feeling definitely went downhill, falling into the stereotypes of corporate property companies. But America and Fatimah have truly brought back the sense of community here. Recently, I went through the unit transfer process, and these women ensured everything ran smoothly and that I felt comfortable in my new home. Not only do they have amazing personalities, but they’re also extremely knowledgeable about the property, despite just joining the team this year. Also, anything they don’t know, they immediately tap individuals that are more familiar with ZRS processes and get back to you promptly. They’re dependable, transparent, and ensure residents feel like a priority. I look forward to them continuing to make The Crosby the #1 community in the area.
Allison Green 2 months agoI'm a current resident and I love my apartment, the convenience of being near major roadways to commute to work, Deep Ellum & proximity to restaurants and things to do - but the current front desk staff needs to be replaced! After 2 incidents happening to me this year I can conclude that they do NOT care about the residents that live here. A $800 package of mine was stolen in January & Johnnie Reese the property manager has failed to provide the detective footage of the incident and has now lied to my face multiple times about submitting it. It is May 3, 2026 and it happened January 31, 2026. What's frustrating the most is because he verbatim told me he watched the footage initially, and could not inform me of anything that happened because he didn't want the complex to be liable in a resident becoming upset about what happened in said footage. And now speaking with him a few days ago he said he attached the footage to the link the detective sent, but he's uncertain if it will be worth anyone's time watching it. I am an extremely observant individual. So I can judge the character of someone that is not being sincere. Also last month a separate incident occurred where my car was struck by another vehicle in the parking garage it also was an incident captured on camera in the garage. My Lexus now has a huge scratch on the driver's door. At this point I feel so defeated because I did what I was supposed to do and create those police reports but it's pointless if the property manager lacks integrity. Also the newer assistant manager here, has an aggressive tone so I refuse to communicate with her. Fatima and the other assistant, are okay but when you are being led by a liar, essentially not much can be accomplished by that office. I regret renewing my lease. Hopefully no more unfortunate situations happen while I am living here because I cannot trust things will be handled correctly, with the level of incompetency that has already been shown to me.
TJ Akram 2 months agoI first moved here in the summer of 2023, and at that time I would say the complex was maintained much better and it felt more luxurious, definitely 5/5 rating. It was not perfect for sure, as I do remember electricity glitches occurring in my unit every so often which would cause the breakers to trip, and you could only get one internet provider at that time which was overpriced. Over the next few years I noticed things slowly but surely go downhill: more pool closures; more "community reminder" emails concerning trash valet, pet pick up, noise levels, rent being due, and the like; the hallways and elevators took on odors of marijuana and other substances; and overall it just did not feel the way it did when I first came. I did enjoy my time here for the most part and think the rent is pretty fair, especially for those who need to live next to the medical center, but otherwise, prospective residents should be cautious. I can safely say my vehicle was not broken into, though I parked on the third floor, and I felt safe walking around the complex and Deep Ellum during the day time. All things considered, this is a pretty fair complex for students and those new to the area on a slimmer budget who want to stay away from the noise of Deep Ellum, but still be within walking distance of the action. Peace.
