Writing a recent review for Southside. It breaks my heart not to give them 5 stars. This is my 3rd time staying here and I have referred at least 10 people here who have signed leases... Been here since January and this is actually my worst experience with Southside. It's not the building or the individual lofts, it's actually management in the leasing office. I don't think they show as much concern as they should. With that being said Southside has 2 major problems.. 1) Parking for guests. There about 20 spots in the front of the building for all the residents' friends and family and then they tell you, you can park down the street in retail parking. Hope your mother is not elderly like mine and have to walk a 1/4 mile. 2) You can walk down each floor and smell "weed".. any floor at any time. If you like weed you will love it here... if you don't then you might want to go elsewhere. The smell sometimes comes into your actual unit. Every property is going to have issues we know and understand that, it's how you handle those issues as a management company. Do I love Southside, always have, always will... just don't feel any love for management in leasing office. The leasing agents are GREAT!! So extremely nice. Note: They changed property management last week, hopefully they bring their own management staff.. but we will see.

It’s rare to find a place where the staff is this engaged and genuinely helpful. Moving here has been such a positive experience, and I’m already looking forward to making this my home for years to come. If you’re looking for a place where you’re more than just a number and where the team is invested in your happiness, South Side on Lamar is it. Huge thanks again to Keenan for making this move such a breeze!

David is hands down the best leasing agent I’ve ever worked with! He made the whole leasing and moving process super easy, and honestly went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule from touring to moving in. The concierge and maintenance team are also great! We’ve been here for over a month now and our loft is beautiful plus the rooftop view is amazing!

Been here for five years and just signed another lease. This is my home and I plan on staying longer. Love the maintenance crew and the cleaning staff. Office and front desk crew are great. When my beloved husband passed away, they made it a point to offer their condolences. There is always someone in the hall that says good morning. Nope, not going anywhere else.
