Please do not move here, especially if it is on the second or first floor of the building. The building structure is old and noise travels very easily. You will lose sleep: if you have inconsiderate neighbors, the constant parties in deep Ellum, and the sirens of the fire fighter department. If you like naps say goodbye to that if you like peace say sayonara. You will not be able to enjoy the homey vibes this complex seems to offer on the surface. If I was a single woman I would not move here, things are rarely calm there’s people screaming, and shouting in the hallways. There’s apparently a homeless people problem but I’ve only seen them once but they are just trying to find refuge. A few good things I like is that the community is very diverse all races and mainly medical professionals due to the hospital being next door. The parking situation is also really good too especially for quest parking. Maintenance team is also really great but you just have to follow up a bit to get what you need. I have not been able to sleep 8 hours in a long time. If you are single, quiet and keep to yourself good luck; hire an Etsy witch to find a better apartment Don’t fall for the high ratings like I did I wanted to move here so bad just to cry every time my sleep gets interrupted at 1-4am. -Sincerely a Gen Z navigating adulting

Honestly, I love it here. The apartments have everything I need pools, 24hr fitness, valet trash (my fav thing ever) especially since I’m just a girl lol. AND 24 hr maintenance! The views are everything starting with the front office! Plenty of things to do around here as well and Tom Thumb is walking distance. I definitely recommend moving here ! It’s not noisy despite living in deep ellum . Also the in unit washer/dryer is such a plus .

For the location, I though I would have more issues and being close to Deep Ellum I thought it would be loud. Took a chance and I just renewed my lease. Place is clean, and have not personally seen anything happen. Staff is friendly and accomodating and maintenance issues get resolved quickly. Apartments are older, but updated.

Marquis on Gaston is a great, welcoming and warm community. It’s our first apartment in Dallas, the leasing office was extremely welcoming and helping, walking us through each step of the process. Big shoutout to Stefan, Mike and Cassie for taking care of us. They are exceptional professionals and caring people. It feels safe, apartment itself is new and clean, all the kitchen and bathroom utilities are new. When our shower rod fell down, maintenance guy came to fix it quite quick and the problem was resolved. What I like especially about this place is the pools, they are clean and nice. The mailing room is locked, so all the deliveries are safe. Walking proximity to downtown. Great choice if you are looking for a place to call home.

A Five-Star Experience from Day One Living at Marquis on Gaston has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first tour, the customer service team has been incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. The office staff is always responsive and genuinely cares about the residents' needs. The move-in process was smooth and well-organized. They guided me through every step, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was perfect before I arrived. Maintenance is also fast and reliable—every request has been handled promptly and with a great attitude. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and feels safe and peaceful. I’m truly grateful to call Marquis on Gaston my home. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for quality living and outstanding service in Dallas.
