The Reunion Apartments

I have been exploring apartments in downtown Tulsa with my boyfriend in preparation for the end of our lease in November, and we came across the Reunion Building apartments. Initially, I submitted my information through their website to learn more about their one-bedroom, one-bath units and was contacted the next day by their leasing agent, Tatum. While I was prompt in responding, Tatum was often slow to reply to questions. Scheduling a tour also required me to call the office directly because I was not receiving timely responses through her. On the day of our first tour, the interaction felt rushed. Tatum did not request our IDs, and we went straight to view the available unit rather than the specific layout we were interested in. The tour itself was brief, including a quick rooftop visit. When we returned to the office, I found it challenging to get detailed information, which usually is proactively provided by leasing agents at other complexes. Our second scheduled appointment was intended to view the original unit we were interested in and another unit at a nearby property. Upon arrival, the building was locked, and repeated attempts to contact Tatum went unanswered. Eventually, a tenant let us in, but we still waited around 10 minutes past our appointment time before Tatum arrived. Once again, IDs were not requested, and the tour was brief. The follow-up office discussion felt awkward, as I had to repeatedly extract information from her instead of having it presented clearly. Additionally, Tatum repeatedly referenced units that would be available in October, despite us making it clear that we were seeking a lease starting in late November or early December. We were also never taken to the second unit we were interested in at their nearby property (which was the whole point of us showing up to this meeting) and had to schedule yet another tour. The third scheduled tour was canceled at the last minute due to Tatum being out, and this change was communicated by another staff member, not Tatum herself. Despite seeing her schedule in prior meetings, there was no proactive communication about this conflict. Weeks later, we have not received follow-up from her. In terms of the building itself, it is an older property. There is a section with seating and the leasing offices, a kitchen area, and a rooftop, but there are no additional amenities such as a gym or pool. Parking is expensive due to the downtown location, and the elevator is quite small. The hallways are cramped, and trays (which appear similar to hospital trays) are laid out outside many of the doors, which makes the building feel cluttered. Some units are listed on Airbnb, which may be why the trays are left out, and the overall atmosphere is unusually quiet. The pros are limited to the building’s exterior, which is gorgeous, and certain features in the units, such as the kitchen, vinyl flooring, and in-unit washer and dryer. However, for the high price point, the unit size and building amenities do not feel comparable to other options. While Tatum was never rude, the overall experience left me feeling that our time and efforts were not respected. There was a lack of professionalism in communication, punctuality, and proactive sharing of information. Scheduling and tours felt disorganized, and our needs and timelines were not prioritized. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend this leasing agent or the property.

My husband and I have been living here for 7 months now and we love it! Theresa and Tatum are wonderful, knowledgeable and assist with anything we might need. We love our apartment as it’s very spacious and the finishings are beautiful. Theresa and Tatum host events for their residents that make it fun and exciting. Some examples of that include Bowling Night, Wine Night on the Rooftop, Breakfast in the Clubhouse and many others. We love the Rooftop and Clubhouse amenities which include work from home offices, pool table, shuffle board and relaxing couches if you need to take a load off and relax. As newbies to Oklahoma — Theresa and Tatum made our transition seamless. Thank you again ladies for all that you do!

I have lived at Reunion for a year and just signed another lease. I absolutely love it! The staff is all great and attentive. For an apartment, it's SUPER quiet. I never hear my neighbors unless I'm walking down the hallway. The location is great too because it's not as busy but still super walkable. I love the layout of my apartment. Plenty of space for me and two pups. I'll live here forever if I can.

The management here is amazing! Both Tatum and Theresa have been very responsive and promptly addressed any matters requiring timely action. The maintenance crew is top notch! They show up and make sure everything is working properly. I can not imagine living anywhere else at this time. The place is beautiful, pet friendly and the people are always welcoming. I love all my neighbors! The new management was kind to organize a thanksgiving luncheon for the residents this year. I truly appreciated the efforts since that was the first place I got to experience thanksgiving… right at home! Thank you Emily and Brooklyn! And most importantly Machu & Picchu love their home too… especially the window!

I can’t express how amazing our experience was living at the Reunion. Tatum and Teresa made it fun with monthly events and prompt responses to any concerns during our lease. Great neighbors, with plenty of amenities especially with the newly converted bank office space. Sunset views over the Arkansas River from the rooftop patio made every night special.
