I just moved to Tulsa for work and I am currently looking for housing. While staying at a hotel, a friend who lives at East End Village Apartments offered to let me crash at his place for the weekend. I was excited because this was one of the first properties I planned to check out. That excitement didn’t last long. The good: the concept is cute, and the location is great. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The property is dirty and has a strong smell of dog urine. Inside the apartment, everything feels cheap and builder-grade, and much of it is already in poor condition. The noise is the biggest issue. You can hear everything from neighboring units—every conversation sounded like it was happening in the same room. It was impossible to relax or feel any sense of privacy. I’m honestly shocked my friend has stayed here, especially after reading the other negative reviews. For the rent I see being charged online, this place is absolutely not worth it.

I’ve lived here since November and genuinely like the apartment layout and the location. Even maintenance is fantastic. Without the one major issue, this would easily be a 4–5 star property. The biggest problem is noise. The walls appear to be very thin, and my neighbors next door one one side create constant disturbances. I regularly hear a barking dog, loud conversations, and occasional loud music. In some cases, I can clearly make out entire conversations word for word through the wall - from across my livingroom. I have reported these issues repeatedly over the past seven months. Each time, management asks me to continue documenting and reporting the noise, but nothing at all has changed. The management is absolutely useless. Despite paying rent and following the reporting process they requested, I still do not have a quiet environment to live or work in. The noise is significant enough that I often feel uncomfortable having guests over. What has been most disappointing is the lack of action and communication. Instead of providing solutions, management has a stance of “oh well, it’s noisey” “kids and dogs make noise.” When I asked to speak with someone higher up, I was told there was no higher management available and that the owner would not be contacting me because they don’t care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend renting here. There are way better options in Tulsa. If you value a relatively quiet living environment, professional communication from management about anything, I would look elsewhere.

My husband and I have lived here for four months now and couldn’t be happier! The apartments are wonderful historic lofts. The manager is always smiling and accessible even after hours. Maintenance has been timely and perfectly done. I would highly recommend to friends.

We have been here 1.5 years this time, but rented here before in 2019 and have had a great experience as far as apartment living goes. The staff is amazing and even with a small crew, they stay on top of cleanliness and issues as realistically as possible. It’s really fun to be able to walk anywhere downtown within 10-15 minutes.

Since moving here in January 2025, I have had nothing but great experiences. Melina always promptly replies to any questions. And maintenance repairs or replaces whatever I need when I make a request. I have met some of my neighbors too, and they’re great! The location is super convenient and all the units are GORGEOUS! I am thankful to have found such a great place to live. I’ve seen others reviews and it’s sad that they don’t feel the same. I ALWAYS recommend East End Village when I hear of people looking for a place to move. Take a tour and see how awesome it is for yourself!
