Everyone has been so helpful and quick to assist when needed. Moving is so stressful as is but Grant Park has really tried to make me feel welcome and supported. I appreciate how kind they are. My apartment is so cute and the community is well kept and clean. I really appreciate everyone here!

I do not recommend living here. While the interior of my unit was nice, most of the issues I experienced were with the property and management outside my apartment. The breezeways are consistently dirty. Although the complex offers valet trash, many residents do not follow the rules, resulting in trash accumulating in common areas. During the summer this attracts flies and creates odor issues. Management frequently announced that breezeways would be cleaned, but in the two years I lived here, I never saw this happen. Dirt, debris, and dust remained throughout my lease. On one occasion, dog waste was left at the top of a second‑floor stairwell. I reported this multiple times through different channels, but management never acknowledged it and it was never cleaned. While the area looks pleasant at first glance, I did not feel it was very safe. I personally witnessed multiple police arrests at a neighboring apartment building (apart of grant park). Theft was also an issue. I had a package stolen directly from my door on the third floor, and another package that was marked as delivered to my locked mailbox went missing. Delivery services often left packages at incorrect buildings, and management only allowed office delivery during the holidays as a partial solution. There were frequent issues with vehicle crime. My car and a neighbor’s car were hit in a hit‑and‑run in the parking lot. One night I accidentally left my car unlocked and it was rummaged through. I also witnessed multiple vehicle break‑ins, including shattered windows, and was informed by another resident that someone attempted to steal a car emblem in broad daylight. Dog waste is a constant issue throughout the property, despite the availability of waste bags and trash cans. Residents are required to pay $30 per month for parking, despite there being plenty of available spaces. After moving out, I waited nearly two months for information about my security deposit. Only after contacting management did I learn that I allegedly owed additional money. I was charged for carpet cleaning and full unit cleaning, despite leaving the apartment clean and finding it dirty when I moved in. I disputed these charges based on Ohio tenant law regarding normal wear and tear, but never received a response. Positives: rent is relatively low, maintenance requests were completed quickly (though without notice), the interiors of the units were nice, and the location was convenient.

Currently live here and it’s been the worst three weeks! Our AC went out after about a week living here and we put in a request. A week an a half later, two maintenance men show up and knock on the door. I’m in the bathroom and don’t hear them and I walk out in my underwear. They don’t proceed to leave. I’m a woman and it was a very uncomfortable position to be in. Even though we gave them permission to enter, there was not 24 hour notice of entry which feels a bit illegal. When I went to the leasing office, the girl at the desk, who has been here for over a year lacked professionalism and got annoyed immediately. Rolled her eyes, had an attitude when I was asking about the “permission to enter” policy, and then proceeded to ignore me when I said “have a good day” super unprofessional, especially for someone who is literally getting paid to deal with resident issues. Her supervisor was nice however, but I left feeling unwelcome as a paying resident. So definitely don’t recommend this community if you want to be valued as a resident. And I don’t really need an apology, I just want the issue fixed, and maybe better conflict resolution skills from the leasing agent who got annoyed unnecessarily quick... We’re going on two weeks without a working AC, and even though they claimed to fix it it’s just gotten more hot sense.

I appreciate the positive changes in management at Grant Park Apartments, and the improvements are clearly noticeable. I understand that meaningful progress takes time, and I value the efforts being made. I enjoy living here because the community is quiet and peaceful. Compared to my previous residence, which experienced significant crime issues, this has been a much safer and more comfortable environment. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Grant Park Apartments is a wonderful place to live, and I intend to renew my lease. Thank you Grant Park Management.

My experience at grant park has been nothing but phenomenal . From my original application with Lexe who made the entire process seamless and quick while also being knowledgeable about the property and its nuances Units are up to date and well built , maintenance is timely , valet trash is consistent . The amenities are also kept up to date and clean. Happy to be a resident for the foreseeable future
