I chose the Elysian because it’s an affordable place aimed at younger adults and people planning for college. I’m planning for college soon so it felt like a great chance to get into a good rhythm in a spot with lots of food, fun activities, and essentials nearby. The furnished units are a huge bonus making moving in easy with beds, couches, and dressers already provided. Security is something I really appreciate. You get a fob for the building and your door and if you choose a shared living space you get a third key for your personal room. The building stays very quiet which is perfect for relaxing or studying. The flat utility fee is excellent. Everything’s included even wifi and it’s cheaper than most single utility bills I’ve paid. I expected slow wifi but it’s fast and reliable for gaming and schoolwork. The apartments aren’t brand new but are well put together for the price and appliances work as they should. Heating and AC both keep the place comfortable year round. Parking is easy with plenty of spots. You can get a surface lot or an underground spot for an extra fee which is great in winter to avoid scraping ice or moving your car for plows. Management is one of the best parts of living here. They’re kind, responsive, and helpful without making you feel judged. They go out of their way to solve problems, hold packages, and even host fun events. Repairs are usually done right the first time. I feel safe with fobs & security cameras both inside and outside the building. The common areas are clean, the tenants are respectful… it’s a welcoming community. Overall the cost & quality make this place a perfect fit for someone starting college or transitioning into a new chapter.

My experience at The Elysian has been great. The property is very well maintained, and the people are truly pleasant. Free coffee and Friday snacks are a great touch and help create a welcoming environment. As an expatriate, feeling at home is extremely important. When I rented the apartment, I didn’t realize it was a mostly university-oriented residence. At first, I was concerned that my family and I might feel a bit out of place. However, the experience proved the opposite: it’s a great place to live, and there are even a few other “not-so-young-anymore” folks like me, which made the experience even better. The building offers many great amenities, such as the gym and the club room, and the units truly compare to other high-end apartments I’ve lived in. Nothing feels basic, which makes the overall cost-benefit simply outstanding. The location is also great. Special thanks to Aaron, Ellie, and the maintenance team for all the support.

I’ve been here at this location since August of last year. Very quiet apartments, close to everything. Couple bars in dinkytown, target in dinkytown. Also a big one in downtown, walking around different places or just simply catching the bus are both easy things at these apartments very convenient and not an inconvenience. Plenty of night life activities if your into that, also allot of summer events going on in downtown as well on the stone arch bridge. Love the stone arch bridge? Well living here will put you 10min walk away from it. Honestly I have nothing negative to say, when there was things that needed to be fixed, maintenance got on it in a timely manner.

I am a current tenant here at the Elysian, a former student in the cities and now young adult working in the cities. The experience I’ve had so far has been amazing. Not only is the apartment clean and comes with well maintained furniture, and a dishwasher + in unit washer&dryer (very important to me), the management is great and on top of things as well. A huge shoutout to Arron in the leasing office. He’s been accommodating after hours for me, has been proactive and has solved issues that came up quickly and amazing. The location obviously adds its charm as well. In short, I hope to live here again next year. Thanks to the leasing team and Arron.

This apartment complex is very accommodating to those with mobility issues with working elevators and handicap doors. They have a nice coffee/cocoa machine in the lobby along with a decent gym. Though something is frequently out of order, it stays clean. This apartment is great for a college student or a single person living situation, especially with their rent-a-room/shared space program, which saves you time, effort, and energy of finding roommates. When issues do arise, such as the laundry machine stops working, the dishwasher floods, or clogged drains. Maintenance almost always responds within the week, including on weekends. The building workers are very kind, understanding, and easy to talk to when issues arise or even before they do. each unit comes fully furnished and can be requested to be taken out of your room.
