I’ve really enjoyed living at Borealis. The unit and amenities are spacious and modern and the location is quiet yet close to walking paths and all the North Loop hotspots. The rooftop views and herb garden are a nice bonus, and the resident events and monthly newsletter really help cultivate that sense of community that you don’t often get in apartment buildings :) The management team is the best part! They’re kind, attentive, and truly care about residents. Shoutout to Alex, who gave us such a wonderful initial tour that we signed on the spot, and Croy and Ben, who have been so helpful with any ongoing requests and are lovely to chat with. I can’t recommend Borealis and Solhem enough!

I love living at Borealis. The people and management are friendly, the building is clean, and the rooftop view is incredible. The location is nice and quiet, and it’s just a short walk to Washington Ave and all the great restaurants and shops. It’s also very pet friendly, which makes it even better. They recently added a new coffee machine in the lobby, which is such a nice touch. It’s a great place to live. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have lived at Borealis since June 2025 and love it here! We love our apartment and how modern it looks and feels. The neighborhood is amazing with a lot to do in walking distance (restaurants, gyms, shops, etc.). The rooftop has a great view of the Minneapolis skyline along with grills, an herb garden, and tables and chairs if you want to hang out up there. The hallways, common areas, and resident garage are clean and well-kept, and maintenance is always responsive to requests. Management is amazing! Every time I walk by the office they ask how we are doing and are very attentive. They will often throw resident events that help make this place feel like a community. If you are looking for a place to live, I highly recommend Borealis.

My husband and I lived at Borealis for two years, and we would still be living there if we hadn't moved to Portland, Maine, for my husband's job. We are currently staying at a "high-end" apartment in downtown Portland, and to say that we miss Borealis and the management team there is an understatement. Below, I’ll break down the different aspects that made living at Borealis the best experience ever. **Management/Staff:** When we first moved in, the management team included Alex, Macie, Marcus, and Kris. As we entered our second year, new team members joined: Megan, Croy, Katti and Amber, alongside Marcus and Kris. We can’t say enough good things about each and every person. Any questions, requests for maintenance, or other concerns were handled promptly and efficiently. They all went above and beyond to ensure that our living experience at Borealis was second to none, and they truly delivered on that promise. When we moved to Borealis, we weren’t looking to make friends, but as we leave, we can say that each person named above has become a friend that we will dearly miss. Even our dogs miss the familiar faces they would see during their potty breaks; they would get so happy and excited knowing that Croy and Megan always had treats ready for them. I could go on and on, but the point is that I don’t think we will ever have a better management team than this. **Property/Amenities:** From wine tastings to annual food truck events, to the community garden that provides fresh tomatoes, basil, and more, all of these offerings foster a sense of community that is so rare these days. Our unit was on the 7th floor right next to the sky lounge pub, and when they told me the units are soundproof, they truly are soundproof. Every weekend, and sometimes on weekdays, there would usually be gatherings or parties in the sky lounge, but noise and disturbances were never an issue for us. Additionally, I love that there are different spaces in the building designed to support working from home. In summary, my husband, our three pets, and I loved living at Borealis. The building and amenities are excellent and well-cared for, but it’s the management team that made our living experience extraordinary!

Just relocated from California, and I have to say—The Borealis Apartments have set a new standard for me. This is by far the cleanest, quietest, and best-maintained complex I’ve ever lived in. The staff is exceptional—professional, friendly, and truly invested in making residents feel at home. The maintenance team is prompt and incredibly skilled, easily the best I’ve encountered. The location couldn’t be more ideal, and the amenities offered at this price point are simply unmatched. From start to finish, the entire move-in process was seamless, thanks to the incredible front office team! My highest recommendation by far.
