I had the pleasure of calling The Pearl home for just under two years, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The only reason I moved was due to relocating to another part of Florida. I truly cannot say enough great things about the team at The Pearl — especially May, Brian, and Myesha. These three professionals consistently provided top-tier customer service, support, communication, and follow-through with every request I had. Their professionalism and dedication made my experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. Living at The Pearl offered the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and community. From the ideal location near entertainment, fitness, and work, to the close proximity of Armature Works, everything I needed was easily accessible. The Pearl truly is a one-stop destination for downtown living and works well for all lifestyles. One of my favorite parts of living here was the sense of community. The property regularly hosted thoughtful resident events such as wine tastings and sushi rolling classes, which made living there feel even more special. The amenities were always clean, well-maintained, and accessible, and the maintenance team was consistently prompt, professional, and efficient. What stood out most to me was how valued the residents were made to feel. At times, I wondered if I was receiving VIP treatment — but as I got to know the staff more, I realized they genuinely treat everyone with the same level of care and respect. If I ever return to Tampa and decide to live downtown again, choosing The Pearl would be an easy decision for me. This was truly a wonderful place to call home. If there were more than five stars to give, they would absolutely have my vote!

Huge shoutout to the maintenance team here at The Pearl! They are always quick to respond, professional, and incredibly friendly. Every request I’ve submitted has been handled promptly and done right the first time. They truly care about the residents and help make living here a great experience. Thank you for all your hard work!

I would highly recommend against renting apartments at the Pearl. I live in building 1 unit 411. My car has been towed two times in the past 6 months here, and I suspect that the pearl has a revenue share agreement with the towing company. Never have I seen such a predatory way an apartment complex partners with a towing company. The towing company has access to come behind the gate where only residents are allowed to park and have access to. They also do not have enough parking spots in the garage for the amount of cars the residents have. It is very typical if I’m coming home late at night or early in the morning the only available spots in the garage are handicapped or reserved, forcing you to park in one of these or on the street. Paying for parking and not coming home to any spots available is absolutely ridiculous. There is another resident who lives here whose alarm system goes off on their car constantly. Same car almost every day, alarm goes off for multiple hours at a time and it can even be pretty late at night. Significantly annoying residents living on the Northern side of building 1. I’ve emailed the pearl multiple times about this, and nothing is ever done about. The internet here is so bad, I like to play video games occasionally, and any online game is borderline unplayable. Ping is often in the high 100s - 999 mb/s or worse. I saw many other similar reviews before I chose to move here, and should not have ignored them. This might be the first review I’ve ever written, and it’s truly because the Pearl is absolutely awful. If you’re reading this, please look through other negative reviews and you will see people who have had a very similar experience living at the pearl as myself. So frustrated I’m going to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, FTC, and State Attorney’s office due to the pearl using unfair and predatory business practices.

I absolutely love living at The Pearl Apartments! From the moment I moved in, the community has felt welcoming, comfortable, and truly like home. The property is well-maintained, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the overall experience has been wonderful. A huge part of what makes living here so great is Myesha. She is always incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. No matter how busy she is, she greets everyone with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel taken care of. Her positive attitude and dedication really make a difference, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I truly appreciate everything she does to make The Pearl such a great place to live!

Property management does not GIVE A DAMN about the employees and tenants who fund their existence. Tenants are required to pay for their guest’s parking, which is ridiculous. Visitors to any of the retail spots only get 2 Hrs of validated parking, so too bad if your hair appointment at Rejuv goes over that time, you’ll have to pay extra! But the worst part in my opinion is that all the staff that works within the retail businesses on the floor level of the Pearl are required to park in the Sprouts parking garage, leading to a 10+ minute walk in the baking Florida sun. The other option is to pay out of pocket for parking to be closer. Try to maintain that 5 days a week for 8+ hours, and say byebye to half your paycheck! ALL THIS WHILE THERE IS A COMPLETELY EMPTY DIRT LOT RIGHT NEXT TO THE PEARL. It is empty every single day unless there’s some special event where they can CHARGE for parking. This is absolutely ridiculous, and so GREEDY. Guess what? The parking attendants who man the lots, dole out parking tickets and get innocent visitors cars TOWED are allowed to park in that dirt lot and have a lovely little short walk to the parking lot they monitor. So, the employees who do the work so that all the businesses can pay rent to the greedy, penny-pinching Pearl Property Management are treated as second class citizens while meter maids and lot attendants are treated like VIPs. Make it make sense?!? THIS APPLIES TO ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE NEARBY AREA, PREGNANT or INJURED and can’t do the walk? The Pearl Property Management does not care about you. Not one bit. :)
