Анна Костян 4 months agoI lived at Navara for 1.5 years and my experience turned into a complete nightmare. At first there were already red flags: no security cameras on the floors or in the parking garage barely any guest parking and extremely thin walls where you can hear everything. But the real disaster started when mold began growing in my apartment. The mold completely took over my kitchen and even damaged my personal belongings in the closet. The humidity level in my unit reached 80%, which is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous for anyone’s health. I later learned that many other residents were dealing with similar issues so this clearly isn’t an isolated case. When I contacted the leasing office they did not properly fix the problem. Instead of addressing the root cause they tried to cover it up. They brought a dehumidifier that did nothing and promised to send a cleaning service that never showed up. For an entire month I kept trying to get them to take responsibility but nothing was actually resolved. I was ultimately forced to break my lease early to protect my health and my property. After I moved out, they had the audacity to send me charges for things like cleaning the refrigerator and small holes in the walls — while at the same time closing my resident account so I couldn’t even review or verify the charges. Completely unprofessional and unethical behavior. Please think very carefully before moving here. What looks fine at first can turn into a serious health and financial problem.
Brandon Rosen 4 months agoI had a great experience moving in here—the leasing team is fantastic and made everything so easy! Alex was my leasing consultant and she was awesome—super knowledgeable, patient, and went out of her way to help with every question and detail. The whole application and approval process was smooth and stress-free. Move-in day was a breeze too: everything was ready on time, the apartment was spotless, keys were handed over without any issues, and there were zero surprises. Highly recommend working with Alex and this team—5 stars for making the process actually enjoyable! 😊
Hannah Hughes 11 months agoI lived at Navara for 2.5 years and it was my first apartment when I moved to Tampa from the east coast of Florida. I’ll start with the biggest cons and then move into the pros. First, the management’s communication is absolute garbage. Over the last year, they have entirely replaced the last management team and both were/are horrible at communication. They do not inform you if there are events taking place at the park across the street and I can’t tell you how many times I was abruptly woken up at 7 AM on a Saturday morning to a loud DJ playing music for the park’s event. A notice would have been great. Also, if there’s a resident event taking place at Navara, they’ll notify you the day of or even as short notice as an hour before. If you email or request them to take care of loud neighbors, good luck getting a response unless you force them to talk to you face to face. That brings me to my second point: rude neighbors. The second year I lived here, a new neighbor moved in next to me and would have loud music/loud talking all hours. I’m talking 3 AM on a Tuesday when I work a day job. Eventually security would get them to quiet down when I would text them. Security was always great but management would never respond to my complaints or deal with the neighbors. Lastly, good luck with guest parking. They only allow guest parking on the first floor before the gate (probably 12 spots or so) and half of them are taken up by kitchen cabinets that they claim will be used to replace cabinets in the apts. These cabinets have been sitting in those guest spots the ENTIRE 2.5 years I lived there. If you have a guest, you can’t save them a guest spot because they will tow your car (even if you’re a resident… it cost me $300 they didn’t reimburse me for btw). Guests have to pay for the parking lot next to the building. For $2,000+ a month and two empty levels of parking on floors 6 and 7, you would think they would allow guest parking….. Now for the pros: location is pretty great on the east side of downtown. The dash service is great and will take you anywhere in downtown. There are a bit of homeless people that hang out at the park across the street, but I never had any issues with any of them. I loved being able to walk right into downtown or a quick ride to water street. I also loved the view from my specific unit. I would advise doing your research on the unit you’re considering to be happy with the view you get. I’ve read other reviews complaining about the view but I think it’s up to the renter to really do the due diligence. Amenities are nice, but I don’t think they’re overly great. Mainly the pool, hot tub and gym were good. No one really uses the fire pit courtyard. Overall I would rate amenities 7/10 especially compared to other places I’ve toured and would consider other places with more luxury amenities if you care about that sort of thing. All that being said, I would rate living here a 3.5/5 if I could. You’re primarily choosing this complex for location. There isn’t a very friendly neighbor community here. The building is clean, the cleaners are so friendly and maintenance has always been amazing. They have taken care of anything quickly that I needed. I did love my actual unit and enjoyed my stay here. I moved only because I was getting out of the downtown area. My biggest issues were with management. If management and communication was better, this would be a 5 for me.
Robert M 4 months agoAfter living here for ~7 months, I've had nothing but great experiences with the residents and management. Moving in sight-unseen on a weekend, Steff still took time to make sure I knew where to go, what to do, and what to expect. Maintenance is always on top of things and are super friendly, amenities are top-notch and always maintained, and you're just a few blocks from being in the heart of downtown. If you're looking for a spot with a lively vibe and community, I can't recommend Navara enough!
Adiel Aguiar 2 weeks agoLived at Navara for a year and the living experience was okay but management is horrible. I’ve now moved out of the apartment for over 2 months and have yet to receive my deposit which is substantially more than any other apartment I’ve lived at. Management can’t even do the easiest part of a lease…returning a deposit - think about the lack of service while you’re living there.
