TPA25 2 months agoStay away at all costs!!! This has been one of the WORST living experiences during my time in Tampa. For starters, when we moved in, we were given a unit that was trashed, had multiple issues, and were called crazy for asking for a solution. Fast forward to today, neighbors are extremely loud and noisy, building is made of all frame so noise transfers easily, and it’s essentially a college frat house. We can hear our neighbors upstairs and next door, along with anybody walking outside the front door. Noise complaints don’t work and parties go on til 5 in the morning. Tenants here are also reckless. One tenant was so reckless that he swung a garage door open so hard and severely injured me. Again, it is like a college frat house. One of the biggest issues here is receiving packages. Delivery drivers do not follow directions and packages are left anywhere they feel like placing them. I’ve had multiple that were lost or stolen and Aurora did not care to help. They said there is nothing they can do. They also put the package lockers in the leasing office which they lock up every night, and early almost every other day. So, if they decided to close early or it’s a Sunday and your package is on the floor by the lockers or in them, good luck getting them because you have to wait until they reopen…. Makes no sense. Appliances are outdated and have not been replaced in the 8 years this place has been open. Our washer smells like mold, and our dishwasher did not work for the first 6 months of the lease. AC has gone out multiple times. They are quick with maintenance most of the time, but only if it’s an emergency. Other times they fail to help when it comes to bigger issues like random creaking noises for hours in the walls. The unit itself is old, outdated, and looks like it’s never been cleaned. A weird mold-like color was growing on the ceiling, and all they did was paint over it. Hot tub and Sauna are ALWAYS broken. All in all, for over $3k a month, I expect WAY more. There are nicer places to live in the area for the same price. Completely overpriced, but then again I guess it is all location.
SAWYER HABER 3 months agoI’ve been here for about 10 months now and I love it so much. The building treated me like family. The hospitality is next level. Anytime I have an issue paying my rent. They’re always very lenient which after Jawana is a fantastic assistant property manager, Adam fantastic property manager 10 out of 10 if you’re looking to move to a beautiful luxury apartment building, Aurora is a place to go. As long as you communicate and let them know the situation as a first time renter they go above and beyond to make sure the situation works out smoothly for both parties involved.
Chelsea Torres 8 months agoI have been living in the Aurora Downtown Tampa Apartments for over 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience. On every account Aurora staff has been helpful, timely, and has gone out of their way to make my experience hassle-free. From my initial move in to regular maintenance along the way, every request I submit is responded to on that day if not soon after even for minor issues. At the front office, I have worked with Debbie a number of times who always helps me with warmth and personalized attention. The amenities are fantastic, with pleasant serene outside spaces including the pool and other lounge space, and a nice and spacious gym. Building updates are sent timely and with key details through any minor or major event. All building repairs are done incredibly timely. Great attention to detail is spent at all times overall. Even things as convenient as there is always parking available on my unit level. It has been a wonderful living environment. Not to mention the great location to close restaurants, shopping and other downtown sites. All around great!
Vicki Allen 4 months agoAs a mother who has visited Aurora multiple times to see my son, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community. From the moment I walked into the lobby, everything feels/looks polished, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The common areas are clean, the hallways are fresh, and the amenities, especially the pool and hot tub, are absolutely lovely. I pay attention to details, and every time I’ve been here, the property has felt well cared for and thoughtfully managed. The staff truly stand out! Adam Leach, Jawana Page, and Andre Montague have always been kind, professional, and very friendly 😍 I look forward to seeing them each time I visit! It’s reassuring as a parent to see your child living in a place where management is responsive and respectful. The maintenance staff has also been prompt and friendly whenever assistance was needed. I’ve seen some negative comments online that simply don’t reflect the experience I’ve personally had. Every visit has been pleasant and fully enjoyed! Aurora feels safe, modern, and beautifully maintained. As a mom, that peace of mind means everything.
Lauren Lev 3 months agoAs a mom, my has been living here for about 10 months now, and he truly loves it. From the very beginning, the building has made us feel like family. The level of hospitality here is beyond what I expected, and it means so much when you’re trying to create a safe, comfortable home for your child. Whenever I’ve had an issue with paying rent, the staff has always been understanding and lenient. That kind of support takes a lot of stress off as a parent. Jawana is a fantastic assistant property manager, and Adam is an amazing property manager. They both go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that residents feel taken care of. As a first-time renter, I really appreciated how supportive and accommodating they’ve been for me and my son . It’s made the whole experience so much easier for me and my son. If you’re looking for a beautiful luxury apartment building with a caring and understanding team, Aurora is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it.
