I lived at the VIM apartments for two years. My experience was great, and I would have stayed except I moved out of state. Overall, my apartment was very quiet. The walls are thick, and I never heard my neighbors. Occasionally you can hear sound from the hallway, which was never a big deal. The few times that I did have some kind of issue, the management was responsive, professional, and quick. My refrigerator went out on July 4th, and maintenance was there on July 4th to fix it. Move out was great. Again, they were supportive and easy to work with. They were professional and I even got part of my deposit back (part is fair, because I did leave some minor damage). Some of the negative reviews are referencing things that have been resolved. For example, the parking garage was very dusty before they paved the alley last summer. That hasn’t been a problem for almost a year. And the garage door was broken for a while, but that also hasn’t been an issue for about a year before I moved out. Overall, I recommend VIM, I felt safe there, I was never woken up in the middle of the night, and management was there anytime I needed them.

I moved to VIM a few months ago and so far really love it! While the building itself is nice and a perfect location downtown, it’s the actual resident experience that I can rave about. The staff are super friendly and actually recognize and know their tenants’ names. They’re also very communicative about building maintenance and responsive to questions/tenant concerns. The hallways always smell good and everything is always well kept. There’s really cool events to participate in, like kickball tournaments and ice cream socials, and appreciation perks like breakfast burritos and food trucks. Overall a great place to live, whether you’re new to the Springs or have been here for years.

After living at Vim Apartments for the past three years, it’s bittersweet to say it’s time to move on. I truly enjoyed my time here, and a big part of that is thanks to Marc Silvia and the entire management and maintenance team. Marc has been an outstanding manager professional, approachable, and always willing to help. Any issue or concern I ever had was addressed immediately, which made living here stress-free and reassuring. The staff as a whole has been great, the residents are positive and respectful, and the sense of community really stands out. I especially appreciated the community events, which helped make this feel like more than just an apartment it felt like home. Thank you to Marc and the entire Vim Apartments team for three great years. I’m grateful for the experience and wish nothing but continued success to the staff and future residents. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live in Colorado Springs!

I’ve had a really good experience living at VIM. One thing that stands out right away is how responsive and efficient the maintenance team is. Anytime I’ve submitted a request, it’s been handled quickly and without hassle. The community itself is well-kept, and it’s just an easy place to live. Everything feels taken care of, and management seems to stay on top of things. It’s also a comfortable environment —quiet when you want it to be, but still feels active and welcoming. Overall, it’s been a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend VIM to anyone looking for a place to live.

I’ve been so impressed with the VIM Apartments under the new management team! The new managers are incredibly responsive—any time I’ve had a question or needed something taken care of, they’ve gotten back to me quickly and with genuine care. They consistently go the extra mile, whether it’s following up to make sure an issue was fully resolved or proactively checking in to see how they can help. It’s clear they truly value the community here. I recommend VIM Apartments as a place where the staff puts residents first.
