I’ve lived in a lot of different apartments over the years, and the Village at New South End has easily been the best community I’ve ever lived in. From the staff to the property itself, everything has exceeded my expectations. Starla, the leasing manager, is truly exceptional. She always has a positive attitude and is incredibly friendly, helpful, and empathetic. Any time I’ve needed something, she goes above and beyond to make sure it’s taken care of. She is one of the main reasons living here has been such a great experience. Jeffrey, the maintenance technician, is also wonderful. He’s always kind, quick to respond, and gets things done right away. Anytime I place a maintenance request, it is handled quickly and professionally, which gives me so much peace of mind. The buildings are always clean thanks to the cleaning ladies who come in weekly to maintain each building. It makes such a difference and really adds to the overall comfort and quality of living here. The community as a whole is welcoming, well-kept, and genuinely feels like home. After living in many different apartments, this has been the most positive experience by far. I highly recommend the Village at New South End to anyone looking for a great place to live with staff who truly care about their residents and a community that is consistently maintained at a high standard! I posted this review about a month ago, however, it was accidentally deleted when I made a new google account, so I wanted to make sure to repost it. :)

I searched high and low to find an apartment near downtown when I was moving to Colorado Springs that was safe, affordable, updated and with good storage options and I’m so glad I found the Village at New South End. As a single dog mom the one bedroom floor plan has been perfect and the dog wash has been SO helpful!! I’d def upgrade to a garage, I have enough room to fit my VW and a home gym. 10/10 would recommend and management is excellent, any issues that have come up have been addressed promptly and you can tell Starla cares about the community which is quite refreshing. As someone who went from owning a home to renting I was nervous to transition back to apartment living but it’s been a great experience here. I also love the location near the police station and a senior living makes me feel really safe

AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE Right off the bat I have to say that Starla is hands down the greatest property manager anyone could ask for. Her endless care and thoughtfulness towards residents is such a breath of fresh air and we couldn’t be more thankful to have her running the place. She’s always on top of things and consistently responds quickly and efficiently to anything. The apartments themselves are great as well, the property is well maintained and we never had issues parking. Thank you again, Starla!!

In July, I met Starla during a tour at Village at NSE. I was looking for a 1 bedroom as I was considering moving from Denver to the Springs. Right away, I was sold on the property - it offered everything I needed in an apartment. But it was really Starla and her warm personality that made me want to live here. Specifically, when we were wrapping up, she said "even if you don't sign here, I'd be happy to help you as you move to the Springs"...i've lived in 6 or 7 apartment properties in my life and none have ever said that to me, they were just focused on my business. I've been here 7 weeks and know that I made the right choice. There's plenty to say about the location, the keyless building and unit entry, and all that, but, really, it's Starla's approach as a property manager who truly cares about and is invested in us residents here that distinguishes NSE from other communities.

I really enjoyed living here. The community was great. When it came time for me to move out, Starla, the property manager, made the entire process so much easier. She was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism, prompt communication, and friendly attitude made what could have been a stressful transition feel effortless. I truly appreciate all her help and would highly recommend both the complex and Starla to anyone looking for a great place to live with excellent management.
