Parth Nayak a month agoLiving at Foundry Commons in San Jose has been a great experience overall. One of the biggest advantages is the excellent location and freeway connectivity — you can access I-280, Highway 87, and Highway 101 within just 2 minutes, which makes commuting around the Bay Area incredibly convenient. Plus, Costco and Walmart are only about 5 minutes away, making daily shopping quick and easy. The property feels modern with new appliances and updated interiors, and the energy-efficient appliances have genuinely helped reduce the electricity bill compared to older apartments. The amenities are also excellent — especially the hot tub, pool, gym, secure community setup, terrace access parking, and the Parcel Pending package system, which makes package delivery safe and hassle-free. One unique feature I really enjoy is the terrace access from the parking area, which makes it easy to go up, relax, enjoy fresh air, catch beautiful views. I have been living here for a long time and have experienced around four different management teams — from Leah and Jenny to now David. I have continued renewing my lease because the community continues to fulfill my needs, and I genuinely enjoy living here. The biggest positive change recently has been the new management team. Since the management transition, Property Manager David and the office staff have been amazing — very professional, prompt in responding to queries, and always willing to help residents. Their responsiveness and support have noticeably improved the resident experience. Highly recommend Foundry Commons for anyone looking for a modern apartment community in Downtown San Jose with great amenities, convenient freeway access, and supportive management. Adding pictures of those views because the apartment and community photos are already available on the website. :)
Preston LePori a month agoJust toured Foundry Commons on Friday and had a really great experience. I first spoke with Sam on the phone, and she was super friendly, helpful, and professional, which made me want to come check the property out in the first place. Then I toured with David, the Community Manager, and he was honestly one of the biggest highlights of the experience. He was incredibly welcoming, easy to talk to, and took a lot of time with me. I had a ton of questions, and he never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing him. Moving is a big decision, and he made me feel comfortable the whole time and gave me a lot of confidence in both the community and the team behind it. As for the property itself, I was genuinely impressed. It’s close to downtown San Jose, but once you’re inside the community it feels much quieter than I expected. Everything was clean, well maintained, and the amenities looked great. The layouts felt spacious, and the whole property just had a really nice feel to it. I also noticed the community smelled amazing everywhere we walked, which sounds random, but it actually stood out to me. As a dog owner, I loved how pet friendly it felt too. Overall, this was one of the better apartment tours I’ve had, and I left feeling excited about the possibility of living there. David and the team made a lasting impression.
Stephanie Soto a month agoI want to start off by saying thank you Foundry commons staff. The past two to three weeks have been the best experience I have had with an office staff. I had the chance to meet the new manager David and agent Carlos. David you’re doing an amazing job with enforcing the community rules, this has been noticed and i have been able to see the changes you are making which are positively impacting the community. I spoke to other residents and they think the same. I have been living here for 3 years and I think this is the first time my concerns are being heard so 10/10 for David and Carlos. The community is stunning and is very well maintained. It shows that the team actually cares to provide us cleanliness. I highly recommend living here due to the following reasons: management is amazing, great location, great rents, and great features. Thank you foundry team and keep the hard work!
Sean 10 months agoWorst management ever. I recently moved out of Foundry Commons and unfortunately had a very poor experience. It has been over 21 days since I moved out, and I have not received my security deposit refund or the refund for an overcharge. California law requires landlords to return deposits or provide an itemized statement within 21 days — but I have received no communication at all. I have called the office multiple times, but no one picks up. Emails have also gone unanswered. This lack of professionalism and accountability is extremely frustrating. I’m sharing my experience so that future tenants are aware. I also post the pics here on my move-out date July 26. If this is not properlly taken care of by the office, I will file a claim in court for unlawful withholding of my deposit.
Nathalie Mondesir a year agoStay away from them. Since I’ve been renting this is the first time my security deposit has been kept for false claims and charged me with illegal outstanding balance. If I didn’t know my rights, the laws, and recorded evidence of how I found the property before moving in and after moving out, I would’ve been scammed. They lied so much about why they kept my money that I had to go to my archives to contradict them and got my hard earned money back. So glad that I’ve always been a tidy and organized person who takes care of everything especially my home. I left the apartment better than I found it and they wanted to keep my money despite my efforts to take care of that place. I was ready to file a lawsuit against them because of the lies but they solved it promptly. I lived at Foundry Commons for one year and it was a good experience living there. They have a huge covered parking but my vehicle has been searched and a drone stolen by unknown individuals and they did nothing about it after I reported that to them. Very quiet and has great residential perks and activities. Maintenance was executed promptly and professionally. Trash cans left by residents in the hallways were a dealbreaker for me and caused me to move out. They force residents to pay for valet trash even if you don’t want it. Management give you attention only before moving in and sometimes while living there. But they ignore and lie about you after moving out. If you choose to live there, please have proper documentation of everything and make sure you know the laws and your rights. Good luck and I hope this helps!
