Amazing experience. The staff was amazing from my initial call, and it continued for my tour. Beautiful building, great amenities. Jose and his amazing team member a sweet young lady were very knowledgeable.

The buzzer hasn’t worked since we moved in almost two years ago. The elevator has been out for weeks The carpets are dirty and poorly maintained. The parking lift constantly breaks, which regularly leaves us without access to our car. Some balconies on the 26th Street side of the building are made with wooden slats that have gaps between them, causing rainwater to pour down onto every balcony below and soak people’s furniture. Meanwhile, the balconies on the Telegraph side have solid floors and don’t have this issue. The garbage bins are installed on a rolling apparatus, which would be nice if it were placed under the sink. Instead, it takes up the only functional kitchen cabinet besides the one under the sink. Now we have to keep pots and pans out next to the trash because there’s nowhere else to store them. There was also ongoing security issues. People constantly break into the building and try apartment door handles hoping to find unlocked units. Management hired security for a few months after the break-ins to appease tenants, but the security presence is gone now.

The manager, Jose, is fantastic! The building is always clean, well-maintained, and smells great. Jose is kind, professional, and always willing to assist right away. It’s clear he takes pride in keeping the community in excellent condition, truly makes living here a great experience!

My experience with Thalia Aguilar has been incredibly positive, she’s someone who truly cares and goes the extra mile. During my move-in process, she was consistently responsive, and on top of every detail. Thanks to her and Oman Hollingsworth, the approval process came together smoothly and stress-free. However, I do want to mention a frustrating part of the process. I had called the leasing office to book a tour and was told everything was confirmed. But when I arrived, there was no one on-site to meet me. This wasn’t just a system error—I had spoken with someone directly, so I expected things to be in order. Since I don’t live nearby, it wasn’t easy for me to come back later, and the delay caused me to miss other scheduled plans. What truly impressed me, though, was Thalia’s response. Even though it was her day off, she showed up just to make sure I could still see the property. That kind of commitment is rare, and it really stood out. Thalia made up for what could have been a very disappointing experience. While the scheduling issue should definitely be addressed, I’m genuinely thankful for her professionalism and care.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for Telegraph Arts Apartments due to ongoing unresolved issues and a concerning lack of responsiveness from property management. The quality of living here has noticeably declined since first moving in, following staff changes. Management has become increasingly inconsistent and inaccessible, with frequent staff turnover and temporary personnel who are difficult to reach. There is no direct phone number for on-site staff--calls are routed to an offshore Greystar corporate line, which rarely results in timely or effective support. The building's maintenance, cleanliness, and overall care have suffered. For example, the elevator was broken for nearly two weeks without caution tape, warning signage, or formal notification to residents—an issue that posed both a safety risk and a major inconvenience. In addition, there was an incident where there was dog feces and large pee stains trailed across the carpeted hallways for days. Residents were forced to avoid the area entirely as it took management and maintenance to follow up days later. (I've included photos below of the pee stains as someone else already uploaded the feces picture before me). Most concerning, however, are the unresolved security issues. Recently, an unknown individual attempted to enter my apartment (and possibly others) around 2 AM on a weekend. I believe he may have been targeting vacant units. Despite emailing management twice--without receiving a response--and eventually confronting staff in person, I received nothing more than an apology. There was no formal follow-up, no increased security presence, and no communication to alert other residents of the potential threat. Alarming behavior like this should never be dismissed. Given the lack of safety, accountability, and basic communication, I cannot recommend living at Telegraph Arts Apartments--especially if security and consistent management are important to you.
