I recommend not moving here. It is too expensive and the customer service is terrible. You are not appreciated as a tenant at all. You are treated like a number. The number of your apartment and not who you are or what you contribute. The elevator was out of service for nearly 4 months. It was absolutely inconvenient. I will not renew my lease here. I have also heard horror stories about when they raise the rent and how ridiculous it is. They also towed my vehicle. I accidentally displayed the wrong handicap placard which expired in 2025. I have an updated one that expires 2027. I sent that to the leasing office and they refused to give me the money back that I paid for the entire tow which was $425. They advised that they would reimburse $175, which was the cost of the tow but would charge me $250 for parking in the handicap spot, even though they asked me to send them the updated placard, I did, and they still refuse to remove that fee. Another thing to note is that when vehicles are parked and need to be moved for any reason, including not even having a Greystar parking sticker or an electric vehicle parked in a space and charging their vehicle using the apartment electricity instead of the designated area to charge their vehicle, they still did not tow the vehicle but issued emails to move the car and gave the owners ample chance to move their vehicle. They work with a tow company that just randomly drives in the parking lot and tows vehicles. They are money hungry. Treating you like a NUMBER. ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. Updated Comment: The owner responded to call them. I live here and the leasing office is downstairs. I already spoke with them and they gave their final resolution. What else is there to talk about?? Living here has not been a pleasant experience at all.

Terrible management and essentially non-existent security at Fourth Street East Apartments, especially in the B Building. On December 20, 2025, at approximately 11:05 PM, I was driving into the B Building parking garage when a vehicle with two masked men pulled in behind me and blocked my car as I waited for the garage gate to open. The gate opens side-to-side and takes about 15 seconds, leaving residents completely exposed while entering. During that time, one of the masked individuals knocked on my window, showed a handgun, and demanded money while I was trapped waiting for the gate to open. It was the longest and most terrifying fifteen seconds of my life. What is most disturbing is the lack of response from management afterward. I immediately contacted the on-site security guard, who took a report but was unhelpful, and there has been no follow-up from the community manager or management team. No email, no call, no notice to residents about safety concerns, and no visible increase in security presence in either building. Residents pay for gated parking, yet the slow gate system and lack of active security make it extremely unsafe. I do not see consistent security patrols, and management has not communicated any plan to prevent this from happening again. I no longer feel safe here, and I am genuinely concerned for other residents. Based on how management handles serious safety incidents, I would strongly caution anyone considering living at Fourth Street East Apartments.

I toured 4th Street East one time over a month ago and have not stopped receiving calls and emails from them since. I specifically said I was not ready to move and just wanted to browse. I finally replied over email at one point to please take me off their contact list, but that's been seemingly unsuccessful. A word of warning to anyone interested in touring the building that you will be called multiple times a week every week for the rest of time if you step foot into this building.

I've been living here for 2 years. The faculty and staff and very friendly. The parking is easy and ammenities are nice. The only problem is the B building doesn't have a secure mail closet or room and packages get stolen A lot!

I previously lived at Fourth Street East about five years ago and had a positive experience, which is why I chose to move back in April 2025. Unfortunately, my experience this time has been extremely disappointing, and I genuinely regret returning. The building has significantly declined. The amenities are worn down and poorly maintained. The pool area is especially bad — the furniture looks old and neglected, the bottom of the pool is dirty, and the pool beds have visible green buildup on them. The concrete around the pool and common areas hasn’t been properly cleaned and appears to have algae or fungus growing out of it. It feels unsanitary and completely unacceptable for a building that markets itself as luxury. The hallways are another major issue. The carpets are filthy, residents constantly leave trash in the hallways and despite emailing management multiple times, nothing changes. The entire exterior of the building smells like dog urine, which is overwhelming and constant — far beyond what’s reasonable, even in a pet-friendly building. The trash chute is constantly broken. And when it is “working,” the trash room smells absolutely disgusting — like raw sewage covered up with cheap perfume. It’s nauseating. Elevator B has also been completely broken and unusable for months, with no meaningful updates or urgency around repairs. Inside my apartment, the outside of my windows are extremely dirty. My KEYMO (mobile entry) has never worked properly since I moved in, NEVER! which defeats the purpose of having mobile access in the first place. Management has been unable to resolve it (after multiple attempts). The amenity spaces are equally neglected — the TVs don’t work, the pool table sticks are broken (all but one), and the indoor planters are filled with dying plants. I’ve emailed management about these issues repeatedly, with no follow-through. BTW...My boyfriend and I used to play a game or two of pool everyday, especially living on the 3rd floor. Not anymore. For the price of this building, you are far better off living downtown, in a newer and more upscale building for the same rent. What’s most frustrating is the complete lack of responsiveness. Management consistently says issues will be addressed, but my emails often go unanswered. I even emailed the CEO of Greystar and received no response. To close this out — and what truly pushed this experience from bad to unacceptable — my sister was involved in a shootout directly in front of building A. She literally feared for her life. Of course…management never sent out a single email to residents acknowledging the incident or reassuring us that it was isolated. I previously lived in a luxury building in Miami (prior to this), and when a SERIOUS incident occurred, management immediately notified residents. How do you have a shooting affecting residents and say nothing? When my lease is up, I will absolutely be leaving. This building is a shell of what it used to be, and I would not recommend it to anyone considering moving here. It's straight up Gotham city. You know it’s bad when you leave a public review. UPDATE JAN.16TH — 1. Please take out my full name. I purposely have my Google name as Mari for a reason. 2. This reply is filled with lies and discrepancies. I just walked over to the pool table there are TWO functioning sticks (with decent cue tips) and two sticks with NO cue tips on them. Seriously? YOU CAN NOT PLAY WITH THOSE. If you have six working pool sticks in your office, why don’t you just replace the entire game room with them? There is no email nor have you reached out to me to fix my KEYMO. I’ve been the one to ask for help and each time everyone fails to fix. It sucks that in order to get a response about anything I have to leave a review. The amount of times I asked about the TVs this is the first time I am hearing about a remote. Football season is wrapping up and I would have loved to watch games in the game room. Anyway, this email took no accountability for anything.
