**UPDATE** You can reach out to me if you truly "want to make it better," but no one has contacted me despite having my information in your system so yeah that’s just another lie. Furthermore, you are charging me $250+ for keeping the keys for two days to an unclean and UNSAFE apartment that was illegal to lease due to painted shut windows and no smoke detector. Even though I couldn't move in and promptly returned my keys, you have held my money for 13 days without responding to my numerous emails. So let’s make this simple, either return all of my money by week’s end or expect to hear from my attorney. **SCAM ALERT** I received my keys to unit 406 on September 10 and planned to move the next day. However, upon entering the unit, I discovered that the advertised 620 square feet was 100 square feet smaller when measured from interior wall to interior wall. Additionally: 1. Unit was filthy 2. Had a live roach in the sink 3. A leaking and broken washer/dryer 4. Usealed and painted shut windows 5. A missing smoke detector 6. A dirty dishwasher 7. Incorrectly installed light switches I asked about the square footage discrepancy, and the manager informed me that they measure the square footage when the unit is empty, without appliances. That is precisely why I measured wall-to-wall; it is still 100 sq ft smaller. The leasing agent offered to address the issues, but they couldn't do anything about the square footage as the building manager, Leo, informed me that he would not provide any concessions and that I could either take 406 or leave. After that, I immediately returned the key and requested a refund. Five days later, I still haven't received the payment despite the process only taking a few minutes with an ACH transfer. Milano Lofts exaggerates the square footage of its units, doesn't provide what is advertised or promised, holds your money for an extended period, and Leo doesn't care about the tenants, unlike Ashley, who was the only helpful person throughout this process.

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Milano Lofts. They asked me to come for a viewing and park in a lot that was about a 7-minute walk from the building. However, when I arrived, they never opened the gate, so I couldn’t even access the parking they told me to use. I had to waste more time finding parking somewhere else. After finally getting to the building, things only got worse. I couldn’t reach anyone — no one answered the phone, the intercom didn’t work, and the only response I got was from an AI assistant that was completely useless and couldn’t actually help me connect with a real person. I ended up standing outside for nearly an hour, waiting for someone — anyone — to show up or let me in. No one ever did. No communication, no apology, nothing. This was a complete waste of my time and incredibly disrespectful. I’m honestly shocked by how poorly this was handled. I will never come back, and I strongly do not recommend anyone go through this experience. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
