The worst place I have ever lived. Unit A540: For three consecutive months, every time it rained, my ceiling leaked. The first leak occurred in October and took nearly three weeks just to patch. I had to take time off work multiple times to move furniture and be present for repairs, only for vendors to sometimes not show up. After the second leak in November, repairs were never completed. I ultimately ended my lease living between two units, my leased unit and a temporary one. This second leak happened right before Thanksgiving, displacing me for the entire holiday season. No one apologized or acknowledged the severity of this disruption. I also experienced persistent plumbing problems. There was an ongoing sewage smell in the bathroom. The unit below experienced a similar issue near their kitchen sink. Plumbers were called multiple times, but the problem was never fully resolved. It became clear that management chose not to make A540 livable again and instead delayed repairs until my lease expired. During this time, I was forced to live between two units just to create one cohesive and livable situation. Temporary Unit A235: The temporary unit I was relocated to was directly above Buffalo Wild Wings, resulting in constant noise and strong food odors. There was also an internal bathroom leak visible in the shower light fixture. I requested a mold test. After the test was conducted, management stopped responding and no repairs were made. The shower felt unsafe to use, forcing me to return to my original unit, which was still under construction, to bathe. Safety Concerns: I witnessed unhoused individuals walking the halls late at night around 1:30am, trying door handles. Security is severely understaffed, with only two guards per shift for four large buildings. Be extremely cautious walking from the garage to your unit at night. Unhoused individuals are frequently in stairwells and hallways. Encampments are routinely cleared and return quickly. I heard gunshots on Spring Street that sounded like they were directly in front of the building. The CVS in the B building closed due to conditions in the area. Random fireworks or unexplained explosions occur regularly at night. Cleanliness: Valet service, which residents are required to pay $30 extra per month for, is inconsistent. Trash often piles up outside units, attracting pests. Also, hallways, especially enclosed ones, often smell strongly of urine. Management: Management consistently made bad situations worse and demonstrated a lack of integrity and empathy. The property manager often used a condescending and sarcastic tone when responding to serious concerns. Despite documenting three leaks across two units in three months, management dismissed the situation as something that happens and suggested I permanently move units, ignoring that I was displaced and living between two units due to their failure to maintain the building. Multiple Greystar leadership members were copied on these emails, yet no one intervened. A regional manager emailed once offering a conversation, then never followed up or responded again. A major advertised amenity, the rooftop lounge on the A building, has been unavailable and under construction for over six months with no timeline. There has been no acknowledgement that residents are paying for amenities they cannot use. Residents are required to route issues through security first, including lease matters. On one occasion, security attempted to accept my rent payment during business hours without offering a receipt while the leasing office was open. Keep in mind, security officers are not Greystar employees. Speaking directly with the property manager is nearly impossible. Wait times to speak with leasing staff often exceed 30 minutes, and concerns are frequently mishandled through email. My renewal was sent multiple times with incorrect information. Parking: During city events such as the LA Marathon and CicLAvia, parking garages are blocked for an entire day, leaving residents unable to enter or exit with their vehicles.

Living here is great. It’s nice, clean, and very quiet. The gym, pool, amenities, and dog park are always well-maintained. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Office leasing agent Allen is always very helpful, and maintenance is prompt. Plus, there’s an EV charging station available.

This location is offering parking on Spot Hero, but they do not validate the spot hero bookings. I had to pay two times for my parking spot last night: Once on Spot Hero (before I arrived) and then again when I left. So parking cost over $30.00 when I was expecting it to be under $20.00. Seems like a law suit waiting to happen, while staff laughed at me and said many people get duped by Spot Hero at this location.

UPDATE (6 MONTHS): It's still a great place to live. The maintenance team is so fast and efficient. The leasing officials are also so helpful and amazing. Allen is still great. HOWEVER, one issue that docks off points is how packages are handled in the A building. Unlike the B unit, A doesn't have a secure mailroom and the kiosks aren't enough or large enough for certain packages. I've had a few packages stolen. They are doing their best since reported , but i feel there need to be more vigilance with this situation.. maybe a camera ? or a designated mail room area. Otherwise, still a good place to stay. I had a very smooth leasing and move-in experience. Allen was super helpful answering all my questions. Though he is very busy, he neither turned down a call nor brush me off. The building has great amenities and the apartments and appliances are of high quality. The security team are also very nice and they helped me pack my items when moving in, even in the middle of the night. So far, my experience has been great.

DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Go in person, a leasing agent. after applying here i had 82 counts of data breach. Meaning a leasing agent or someone in the company, is doing fraudulent / shady stuff. after being denied for a " cancel payment ". THEY HELD MY SECURITY DEPOSIT $250. This seemed like an error to me, so i applied again. the website nor leasing nor company pages notified nor blocked me from applying. IN FACT, they asked for another security deposit of 250. Again i was approved. Then they asked for another security deposit of $1000, pretty normal basic stuff. BUT THEY REPORTED ME AS A CRIMINAL OR THEY SOLD/USED MY INFORMATION TO IDK WHO. And that leasing agent wrnt ghost for 1 month, extending & alertering the application to make it seem as the move was still approved. after the initial move in date, 20 unanswered calls, 5 canceled appointments, 2x refusals to speak to me at the office. A whole month later, another leasing agent told me that hes been late & missing, dodging everyone there. Coworkers & clients the same. so my guess is that the leasing agent LN took off with the money & got soo high he hasnt come back down. HIS NAME IS L-N . Like Ellen. but with an A. Al Len // LN . yal get it, put 2&2 together. Sooo basically in dec/jan 2025/2026. be very care while appplying because if hes still employed there, that says a lot about the company........ and the company already has it own legal battles for things in the past. Im a resident in another Greystar building (inglewood). and never was my experience so unprofessional. So make sure you have identity theif protection before applying. Taking payments of $1250 when a person can no longer apply, seems pretty SKETCH. Anyways be prepared for crazy, unprofessional, falselifying receipts, altering documents & data breaches. & then they'll act as if you were the sketchy one. make up some lies about airbnb
