J M 4 months agoAfter two years, these are things that have happened over the last 6 months that influenced me to move out… - No more office hours It was always nice getting that friendly wave hello from the previous manager when you left for work or were coming home. Now, permanently closed and by appointment only - Cockroaches Every time someone moves out (which has felt much more frequent lately) these disgusting critters seem to move in. Although there is a monthly charge for pest control, I have never seen it. And once there is an infestation, well, that’s a wrap. - Overflowing dumpster It seems to coincide with the end of the month, which also seems to coincide with the many recent move outs. Why not just schedule an extra pickup for the last week of the month? - The gigantic shade trees These beauties made for shady summer time walks, lower utility bills in the summer from the shade, and were magnificent to see as you pull up to come home. Now, completely scalped. So much so, a few are dying or dead - Lush green grass There used to be lovely green grass year round with regular landscaping. Now, huge patches totally gone, and some guys with leaf blowers blowing dust and dirt around on Saturday morning when you’re trying to sleep in. - Community I used to know all my neighbors. Now the apartment next door is an AirBnB. Different people walking by your front window every weekend. No thanks.
Naomi AD 7 months agoThis community has truly exceeded expectations since coming under new management. The recent renovations have made such a difference—the units look fresh and modern with upgraded cabinets, clean finishes, and thoughtful touches throughout. Maintenance is outstanding. Every request has been handled quickly, professionally, and with genuine kindness. The team is always polite and easy to work with, which makes a huge impact. Special shoutout to Leo, the property manager. He’s incredibly responsive, helpful, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. His leadership clearly shows in how well the property is managed. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay—clean, updated, well-maintained, and run by people who truly care. Highly recommend!
Money Man 4 months agoLeonardo is the best property manager I have ever dealt with. He is always there to help out with any issues I may have. He is caring, super responsive, and makes me want to live here at Metro forever. What a blessing he is. If all property managers were like Leonardo, owners would make a ton of revenue. Ever since he has taken over.. the property is clean, beautiful lights at nights, and hired an expert maintenance crew who actually know what they are doing!
Preston Magonigal 4 months agoI’ve had a great experience at Metro at Downtown Mesa. Leo, the manager, is a genuinely good guy, super helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. The property is quiet, well kept, and you can tell management really cares about the community. The location is also a huge plus, close to everything downtown but still peaceful. Highly recommend!
ZaKhira J 10 months agoI am a recent tenant who always paid on time and followed the rules and guidelines of Metro at Downtown Mesa, I have been trying to get in contact with anyone from management to get a rental payment ledger from my time being there, however I have been ghosted. This is a decent apartment whilst you reside there, but do not depend on them to follow up on anything needed once your lease is up. Very unprofessional management. Michelle was always so kind and responsive while I resided there, not sure if management has changed but their lack of communication has not left me on the brink of homelessness due to not being able to verify my rental history with Metro.
