Great location and a very nice building. It’s within walking distance of the Pearl, and everything you need is within a 15-minute drive. The main downside is the noise. The floors are very thin, so you will hear upstairs neighbors. Also, while the front desk staff is consistently kind and helpful, the property managers tend to be responsive only when money is involved. Overall, we had a good experience living here, but prospective tenants should be aware of the noise and the property management issues. For example, I emailed months in advance to schedule a move-out walkthrough and received no response. I followed up closer to move-out and again received no response. When I spoke to the front desk a day or two before moving out, I was told the managers might be busy but would contact me. They never did. I called again before we left, and no one was available to do a walkthrough with us.

Such a great place to live! Love the location, It’s just a quick walk to the river walk. The amenities are amazing, especially the gym! Ces & Erin in the leasing office do a tremendous job! Love it here!!

I’ve been living at this apartment located at 847 E Ashby Pl in San Antonio for more than a year, and while there are some positives, there are also some serious issues that need to be addressed. On the positive side, the apartment itself looks great and the location is excellent. Parking is also convenient with plenty of spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the rent is definitely on the higher end, which makes the ongoing problems even more frustrating. One of the biggest concerns is the electrical system. The circuit breaker constantly trips whenever the washer or dryer is running at the same time as any other appliance. When this happens, power to the bedroom is lost, which also knocks out my internet. This is a major issue, especially for anyone working from home—it makes it nearly impossible to do normal household tasks without disrupting work. Additionally, there is a constant noise issue from the upstairs neighbor due to a baby device that runs 24/7. Unfortunately, management has not taken any action to address this, which has made it difficult to have a quiet living environment. Overall, while the property has great potential because of its location and appearance, the lack of resolution for these ongoing issues—especially the electrical problems and noise—makes it hard to justify the cost.

The ladies in the office are awesome and extremely helpful. But some of the residents are lazy and inconsiderate when it comes to handicap parking. They like to use them to get the mail.

Tin Top Apartments are located in the newly developed, safe, and upscale Creamery area. The location is exceptional, boasting meticulously maintained public areas. It’s great for people who work from home as it offers a free conference room and office desks. A walking trail adjacent to the building connects to the famous river walk. Restaurants and major attractions are just a walk away. Convenient parking is further enhanced by the presence of EV chargers in the parking garage. It would be ideal to have a bike stand in the parking garage, considering the proximity of scenic trails just a few feet away.
