When I was moving in the apt was not clean or painted. There was bug bomb spray on the counter and someone’s thing they left behind along with a broken ice box. The gate is always broken and I’m car was broken into and stolen. The pool is always filthy (see pictures attached). There is always mountains of trash in the garage piles up and over flowing. )see pictures attached) they let dogs on the roof top and they poop and it stays there for weeks. The hall ways smell like dead dogs and there is no accountability. I have attached pictures of the real Southtown flats. I have videos of the pool being green for over a month with a rotten smell coming from it.

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this apartment complex. The door on the fifth floor has been broken for over six months and has still not been fixed, which raises serious safety and security concerns for residents. There have also been multiple car break-ins on the property. Management’s response has been that there is “nothing they can do,” claiming that all of the security cameras are broken. This lack of accountability and basic security is unacceptable and leaves residents feeling unsafe. In addition, maintenance work done inside my unit was poorly executed. My floor was repaired incorrectly, and the quality of the work was unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was my interaction with the front desk. When I tried to bring these issues up in person, the staff member became defensive and acted in a very unprofessional manner. I was spoken to poorly and felt completely dismissed instead of being helped. Residents should not have to repeatedly follow up on basic maintenance issues or be treated disrespectfully when voicing legitimate concerns—especially when safety is involved. I would not recommend this complex unless management makes serious improvements to maintenance quality, security, and customer service.

Overall the experience here at Southtown has been amazing! It’s very convenient for everything being in the middle of San Antonio which makes it easier to travel to different locations on different sides of towns. The staff there is amazing as well. Leslie is one hell of an assistant manager who makes sure everything gets done correctly and Liz (the property manager) is always ensuring the property is kept up with even though it is a pretty big property to maintain.

I’ve been living here for a bit now and honestly, it’s been a really solid experience. The property itself is always kept clean, the grounds are well maintained, and it actually feels like the staff takes pride in how the place looks. That makes a big difference day to day. One thing I really appreciate is how responsive the maintenance team is. Any time I’ve put in a request, it’s been handled pretty quickly and without any hassle. Ty and Rey in particular have both been great—super professional, respectful, and they actually take the time to make sure the issue is fully fixed instead of just doing a quick patch job. You can tell they care about doing things right. Overall, it’s been a comfortable place to live and I haven’t had any major issues. Between how the property is kept up and how reliable maintenance is, it definitely makes living here a lot less stressful.

Changed their name to levee at Southtown to avoid reviews, pool is coated in bird feces, maintenance is very nice and helpful but anything that requires a 3rd party is going to be delayed beyond expectations. Gym has been closed for months due to things I suppose tenets should somehow be understanding of yet still being charged for. They terminated their contract with a 3rd party vendor that helped people split up rent, but not a skip in their beat demanding their money regardless of adjustments they put on the residents. Multiple cars have been broken into. If the owners of this property wouldn’t stay here why would they expect others to.
