The apartment complex itself is clean, modern, and well-updated. The on-site management team (not corporate) is genuinely exceptional — responsive, helpful, and clearly cares about the community. They put on great events like food trucks and other community involvement activities, which help create a nice vibe overall. Unfortunately, the parking situation has become a serious problem. After I moved in, management changed the policy to allow the general public to park here freely. With no security guards, no police presence, and only one camera at the entrance/exit (none on any of the 8 parking floors), this place has turned into an easy target for thieves. My truck has now been broken into twice in the past 4 months. The most recent break-in, they stole my tail lights, ladders, tools, jack stands, and more. The time before that, they smashed my window. Last week, my neighbor’s car was stolen from the lot and only recovered days later by police. Except for this major lack of security and the horrible policy change that opened the parking lot to anyone, I would have zero complaints about the complex. As it stands, the complete absence of proper security makes the parking area feel unsafe and leaves residents vulnerable. Management really needs to address this urgently — more cameras, security patrols, or at least reversing the public parking policy would make a huge difference.

If I could give zero stars, I would and sadly, things just keep getting worse. Let’s start with security, or rather, the total lack of it. There have been multiple break-ins in the garage cars with windows smashed, keyed, and hit-and-run damage. Police were literally here again yesterday, and unfortunately, it’s not the first time and definitely won’t be the last. Residents are left to deal with the damage, and management takes no responsibility. And don’t even get me started on the mail there were also mailbox break-ins before this. It’s clear: this place is not safe. Instead of providing actual security, management decided to make the garage public, putting paying residents at even more risk all in the name of monetization. We pay monthly rent expecting at least basic security, and we get absolutely none. They forced everyone to download a tedious app just to open doors. It technically works now, but it’s overcomplicated you have to guess which door is which by name, and many exterior doors only open one way. To make matters worse, some residents didn’t even receive their access codes, so they were just locked out one day without warning. The elevator constantly breaks, the guest parking is limited to 36 hours before you have to pay, and communication is basically nonexistent. This place is unsafe, unorganized, and unapologetically profit-driven. If you’re thinking about moving in don’t. Scroll past this one and save yourself the stress (and the repair bills). Update: there had been way too many water leaks though the year, this las one they dismantled the end of the hallway of 3 floors that i know and they have been wrapped in plastic for about a month.

I've been living at Agave Apartments in San Antonio for three years, and it's been a great experience. The location is prime in Southtown with a perfect pedestrian-friendly score. Recently upgraded amenities include the pool, grilling areas, and club house. However, the best part is the staff. Lana, Charlie, and especially Tony, the leasing manager, have been exceptional. Tony has supported me since my first lease, always responsive and even sharing great guitar chats. If you're searching for a new home, Agave is unbeatable. The property manager Nicole is absolutely fabulous. She is so kind and helpful when I've needed anything and she is constantly keeping her team (and residents) laughing. The community itself is great. I love using the clubhouse and amenities. Everything is put together so thoughtfully and the staff is wonderful.

I lived here for a year and truly loved the location, but the quality of the actual apartments and the staff was inexcusable. But I have to give a shout out to Tony and Evan. They were the only reason I stayed at the apartment. They were so kind actually cared about the residence and so helpful. The rest of the woman in the office literally would always give you the meanest glare and make it seem like you’re a burden for bringing up any problem. They would take forever to get anything done. The only reason I’ve given two stars is for those two staff members who Were the only ones that actually cared to help out. Truly left because of those other girls, they would talk so down on them and the residents, be so demeaning in front of residence. I would never live there again just because of those women in the office and you’ll know exactly who when you go they just rolled their eyes every time you go in there.
