The way we’ve been treated after moving out is beyond disappointing. Before leaving, we spent hours making our apartment spotless. We had no pets, no kids, and took great care of the unit during our entire lease. We truly expected to receive our full security deposit back. Instead, management is refusing to return our deposit and is actually attempting to charge us additional fees. We even moved out almost a week before our lease officially ended. Because we moved out on a Sunday, staff was unavailable for an official walkthrough, and apparently assumed we didn’t document the condition of the apartment before leaving. Thankfully, we did take extensive photos, which directly contradict several of the false claims being made. At this point, we’re having to take further action regarding these accusations. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially after being long-term tenants who cared for the property. I would strongly recommend future tenants document absolutely everything and not assume they’ll receive their security deposit back without a fight because these people will take full advantage of you, especially if you move out without an official walk thru with them. Thankfully, we have close legal counsel to help navigate this situation ! If you don’t, I would stay far far away from this place!

I toured almost every city apartment complex before choosing the Metropolitan. I was happy to make it my last stop, since it checked every box for us. As a military family who moves often, this was one of our favorite places to call home. It is relatively quiet and we always felt very safe. The location was perfect for taking advantage of walkable city entertainment, museums and restaurants. However, it’s also close to the interstate to quickly head out of town. The management is extremely kind and promptly responds to questions or concerns. The maintenance and cleaning staff are also attentive. We only ended our time there due to a home purchase. We experienced the smoothest move-out process EVER with their express check-out option. If you want the best city view on the property, ask for #1401. We loved the giant windows in this unit for watching sunsets and thunderstorms. I personally became obsessed with the water birds like egrets zipping back and forth all day. This is a great complex that we thoroughly enjoyed calling home! (Side note: I received no compensation for posting…this is my honest review!)

I love living at The Met! It’s close to my job and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area.The staff (maintenance / front desk) are always so kind and helpful. My favorite part are the events that apartment life coordinators (Danielle & James ) host every month. It really brings the community together. I’ve never had this experience at any other apartment I’ve lived at. Thank you all!

Living at The Metropolitan has been a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the community feels friendly, and the staff genuinely care about residents. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently. A special shoutout to Isaac, who consistently goes above and beyond. He is incredibly friendly, responsive, and always handles issues in a timely manner!

I would like to say that these apartments were hands down my favorite since living in okc for the past 7 years! I moved to the Metropolitan apartments last year of 2025 from the West Village, and I would say the staff and the apartments itself was well up-kept! The staff are great people and make sure you’re well taking care of . And don’t get me started on the maintenance crew. They helped me tremendously when it came to their responses and even the little things. The first floor ceiling height was a bonus to how big the apartment feel and look. Thank you metropolitan for the warm stay. I will be recommending these apartments to people looking to move downtown!
