I have absolutely LOVED my experience living at The Bingham Apartments, and I can not say enough about how wonderful the management, maintenance team, and hosts are (specifically: Tina, John, Blair, LoriAnn, Alora, Brittany, Robert and Roy). From the very beginning, I felt welcomed, valued and heard as a resident. The management staff does go above & beyond to ensure every resident feels comfortable and welcome. They are always friendly, professional, & quick to respond to any question or concern. They follow up within 24 hours to be sure all requests or concerns were appropriately handled. Without a doubt anyone living here can tell and attest they genuinely care about creating a positive community atmosphere and keeping everything running smoothly. The maintenance team deserves a special shout-out as well — they are simply outstanding. Any maintenance requests are handled promptly, efficiently, and always with a smile. Whether it’s a quick repair or routine upkeep, they’re reliable and respectful of your space. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and do everything possible to keep the property in top shape. What really stands out about The Bingham is the overall hospitality. The hosts are warm and attentive, making everyone feel like part of a close-knit community. They put real effort into making residents feel comfortable and appreciated, often organizing the best way to receive packages, always greeting you with kindness and empathy. It’s rare to find such genuine, hands-on hospitality in an apartment complex, and it makes all the difference here. The building itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of character, but what truly makes The Bingham shine is the people who run it. It’s more than just a place to live — it’s a place where you feel supported, respected, and TRULY at HOME. I CAN NOT imagine a better experience and would HIGHLY recommend The Bingham Apartments to anyone looking for quality, quiet, and affordable living with an exceptional team behind it. Worst leasing staff in Cleveland. God I want to give names but I’ll keep some class I have left. Do not apply here. They don’t deserve your business. They Literally make you feel like they are “Doing you a favor” when you meet with them. Their communication is one of the worst I’ve seen. Also rude. We had to beg them to respond to us and the future Roomate I had already live in the building and got locked into their stupid policy. Over 3 un responded emails. Multiple times going down to the lobby to ask what’s going on. It was hell. I also know not one. Not two. But 3 people who also had the same experience. And living there is not much better 200$ for parking and it’s not even in a garage! Moved to the Holly. Better experience better staff. Yeah thanks for putting me in a terrible spot. I was almost homeless for a bit waiting on them to get back.

This is my 3rd year staying at the Bingham and I plan on renewing my contract again next year. The rooms give off a retro vibe that is extremely classy, and I’m not even in one of the penthouses. Public amenities are A1 as well from the Starbucks espresso machine to the enormous lobby with an 80” TV. Constantinos supermarket is also connected to the first floor, which makes grocery shopping super convenient. They also have so many options for hot meals and mto food. If you’re considering moving downtown I’d check this place out forsure.

Story Time: We Survived the War *Key points for those who don’t want to read long paragraphs ~OR~ would like to skip to the paragraph that specifically goes over that issue: (1) waitlist for parking inside and outside (2) walls are thin (highly recommended reading through this one, call out post to a reviewer) (3) air conditioner does not work in a few units in this building (4) communication with leasing is awful (1) As mentioned before, our journey starts before we even move in. My roommate and I were told as we were signing our lease that there was a waitlist for the garage. But we’d most likely get off of it by the time we moved in. Well move in day is creeping closer and closer and we had no idea if we would have a parking spot. So I checked the outdoor parking options and every single lot was waitlisted. I called the leasing office and told them my worries about us not getting a spot and they told us they already assigned us two spots in the garage. So if you do move in just make sure to call and ask about the garage because they will not let you know. And if you are currently outside, they have a ton of spots open in the garages so make sure the ask! (2) Now as another 1 star reviewer has mentioned, our stress levels were heightened and we were uncomfortable in our own home, but not for the same reasons he provided. The noise levels were quite loud and consistent almost every day and night “despite my efforts to keep the noise levels down.” The first day moving in the noise coming from the other side of the wall kept us up all night and basically all week was a nightmare. Now as one does when they are losing sleep over noise, we called the concierges to ask if they could ask this person to keep it down past 9pm on weekdays. This only made things WAY worse for us because the person next to us took this as a challenge and turned the noise levels up to the point where our walls were vibrating. We recorded every night this happened and made sure to keep email threads of these occurrences as requested by the leasing office, as this resident was already causing issues before we moved in. Luckily they were eventually evicted, not mentioned in their review btw. But those few months were really bad to the point where we had to get cops involved. Not to mention as this person was moving out they were extremely disrespectful and said some choice words to my roommate. (3) After this whole situation, we thought war was over, but no, it persisted. As we entered the summer months, our air conditioner decided it wouldn’t work. We had maintenance come in multiple times to try and fix it but unfortunately, due to some wiring issues, a few units in the building were left with no AC. The leasing office’s only solution was to move to a different unit (not guaranteed the AC would work). I am only assuming that since it wasn’t affecting all units that they weren’t going to try to fix this issue and in “they” I mean the building managers. Maintenance is probably the best part of this building, they are quick and very nice so no shade to them at all with this portion of my complaint. Also side note: someone below us did not have AC or heat. So just take that into consideration. (4) The leasing office is very horrible with communication. If you email them, don’t expect an email back. And if you go to the office they will say they will figure the issue out and email you, which they never do. If you are living here or want to, just make sure you keep all email correspondence with them and if you talk to them in person make sure to send them an email about that conversation. This saved us in the month we were moving out because they mixed up our move out dates and had to reference the email WE sent them about the date. If you made it to this section, I hope you took some of these words into consideration as you are researching a place to live. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully we made it out and war is officially over.

We have lived full time at The Bingham since October 2024 but have had occupancy since mid-June 2024. We sold our house that we lived in for 29 years and decided to move downtown. We have not regretted our decision and certainly don’t have any regrets about moving to The Bingham. The property manager, leasing office staff, concierges, and maintenance staff are outstanding. Everyone is so very pleasant (including the residents), and we have felt very welcome here since we moved in. The building is immaculately kept, and all of the amenities are wonderful. The neighborhood is fantastic; we walk everywhere and feel very safe. We have nothing but high praise for everything about The Bingham. We’d highly recommend The Bingham to anyone looking for an apartment in downtown Cleveland. We’re so happy with our new home.
