Torrie Dukes 3 months agoIf I could give this complex 0 stars, I would. If there’s one thing to take away from this review, it is the extreme lack of communication received from Cedar Flats management/team. I initially got in contact with Isaiah, the community manager, to express my urgency and excitement about moving into Cedar Flats. The first unit I was interested in was leased the day after I took an interest. I realized that if another unit became available, I needed to act quickly because the units are selling fast. I immediately got back in contact with Isaiah on March 17th to get a lease signed that same day on unit 318. I was ready to sign and did not want to miss out on another opportunity. I ran into an issue applying on the website for unit 318, and Isaiah told me he would reach back out to me in 30 minutes to an hour to correct the problem and have the application sent over. I never got a response back. On March 18th, I went to Cedar Flats for an in-person tour. I met Isaiah for the tour, and Tarrah was in the office working and introduced herself. I asked if unit 318 I called inquiring the day prior, was available and was told the unit was leased to another person. I was upset but nonetheless still interested in the property. After the tour, I told Isaiah and Tarrah I would be going home, filling out the application, and deciding between the three units I toured that day. Within two hours of touring, i had my application submitted for unit 207 with a move-in date of March 24th. After filling out the application, I received a notification that my move-in date and rent quote had changed. I immediately emailed Isaiah on March 18th, asking for clarification. I did not receive a response. March 19th, I woke up to a denial letter from Cedar Flats due to income. I immediately emailed Isaiah to try to rectify the situation. I never received a response from Isaiah. Later that morning, I did receive a call from Tarrah stating it was an error on my end when I filled out the application, but she would get it corrected and call me back on March 20th. I never received a call from Tarrah on March 20th and was told Tarrah would not be in the office that day. Four days later on March 23rd, I received a call from Isaiah at 1:30PM congratulating me on my application approval. I still had not received a follow-up regarding the new quote, move-in date, or income hiccup UNTIL LESS THAN ONE DAY BEFORE MOVE-IN. To say I was upset is an understatement. After not hearing back for four days, Cedar Flats was no longer an option. I expressed my urgency and excitement to move to Cedar Flats from the initial introduction and was not taken seriously.
Cheyanne Artis 3 months agoI had a great tour of the apartments. Isiah was very professional, positive, and welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in the property and cares about the community. The apartments are very nice and I really enjoyed the experience.
Tyler Coates 4 months agoBeautiful property! Isaiah is a fantastic Community Manager who leads with professionalism, confidence, and care. He’s attentive to residents, supportive of his team, and truly dedicated to making the community thrive. His leadership and positive energy make a real difference every day!
Omega C 6 months agoLeasing office team has changed at least 4 times in the last year, which is concerning. The latest team removed the complimentary dog treat jar and apparently wanted a bigger office so they moved into what used to be a resident lounge area across the hall from the smaller office.
Just Smith 5 years agoCedar Flats is by far the best apartment complex I've stayed at. Cedar Street Tavern and 7-11 is a block away. The cemetery is my personal track (not really but it's great for taking a quick run). Nyesha is the best. She communicates very well and is very attentive. I will be renewing my lease for sure.
