Alta Purl has been an amazing community to live in. The apartments are great, the amenities are well maintained, and the entire team, from maintenance to management, has been wonderful. We moved from Florida, and from our very first visit, Jason has been a superstar. He was patient during our tour, helped us transfer to another unit shortly after moving in, and is always ready to help with a smile. Our dog also loves stopping by the office for his snacks! Thank you, Jason and Alta Purl, for making our experience here so special. 💛

DO NOT MOVE HERE! We have had 5 false building wide alarms in the last 36 hours. Management has not responded meanwhile residents live in fear. I’ll be writing more, but this is the last place you should look at when choosing a home. Edit: 6th fire alarm in 48hr. You can tell Alta Purl’s response has no humanity and is fully passive aggressive. Edit 2: 7th fire alarm! This time it was a “test” that took 31 minutes to complete. Every resident, pet, and child here is living in fear. Over 105db alarms inside every residence. Edit 3: 8th fire alarm. After being told systems are functioning properly and everything is code compliant, a fire alarm vendor tripped the alarm due to a “valve being repaired and then water coming out of the valve.” Residents were not notified of the repair, probably because systems were still broken and probably are still broken. Fire alarms cant be fixed and broken at the same time. I also took more decibel readings closer to the alarms: Hallway: 128.2db Parking garage: 129.9db Apartment: 116.4db According to ChatGPT, I could either attend 960-1,200 loud concerts this year or live at Alta Purl and suffer 8 consecutive alarms. Also according to GPT, jails only have system wide alarms once every 4 months. STAY AWAY!

Wow! What an experience! I’m considering moving to Charlotte for work and came across Alta Purl. I’ve rented my whole life and Jason gave me the best tour I’ve ever had. He was polite, knowledgeable, great sense of humor and best of all listened to my wants and needs in the process. If the job works out I will surly rent from Jason!

It’s hard to enjoy this beautiful “luxury” apartment when every day, you’re dealing with false fire alarms on a daily basis. Imagine being by woken up out of a mid-afternoon nap, or having your favorite tv show interrupted, or being mid-dinner and watching the most obnoxious fire alarm goes off?! In a span of three days, there have been SIX fire alarms and all that the Leasing Office will do is send an email, apologizing for the inconvenience or blaming an outside vendor, which does nothing to address residents concerns or fix the “alleged issue” with the building’s fire alarms. If you are looking for a beautiful luxury apartment, please look elsewhere. This property is beautiful but you’ll never get to enjoy it the way these fire alarms are set up.

I’ve lived here a little over a month now and my experience has been great so far! Alyssa toured me and did an amazing job explaining all the details about the building and the amenities. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made me feel confident about choosing this community. Ashley handled my move-in and the process was quick and smooth, which made such a difference during a busy time. Since moving in, I’ve had a few minor maintenance requests, and the team has been friendly and responsive every time. Jaylen was especially kind and very respectful of my space while working in my apartment, which I really appreciated. I absolutely love my new apartment and I’m excited about the year ahead. The resident events are also a lot of fun and a great touch. So happy with my decision to move here!
