Almost been here for a year now and love it! I have a big dog and it’s super dog friendly and I feel safe living here, which is huge being a young woman living downtown. Front office staff are awesome and always helpful. Same with maintenance. The elevators are down quite a bit but I don’t think that warrants a star being removed and it seems like most of the time it’s out of maintenances control, but I think it’s something to be considered if you’re not able bodied for stairs every once in a while. Overall I’m really glad I chose to live here. Great location and perfect walking area. It’s quiet all times of day and great view of the city from my window!

I lived here for almost 2 years and unfortunately had several frustrating experiences during that time. One of the biggest issues was security. Multiple items were stolen from the basement storage area that we were told was a secure place to store items, including a bike and a moped, and there wasn’t much communication or support from management about what happened or how it would be addressed. Additionally, several of the building’s entry doors were shattered for a period of time, which made the building feel unsafe. There were also a number of maintenance issues during my lease. Our AC, heating, and dishwasher all broke at different points while we were living there, which made things inconvenient. While maintenance requests were eventually addressed, it felt like there were recurring building issues. The location itself is great, but based on my experience I think the building needs significant improvements in both security and appliances for the price you pay to live here.

We absolutely loved out time at Unity! We already miss it so much but had to leave due to relocation/jobs! The office does a amazing job of not only providing support but being good people in general 🙂 They were always so kind to us & our fur babies. The finishes are so nice especially if you look at the other remolded buildings in River Market. …. The only down side/suggestion. GET the property parking. We had 1 car stolen three times & our other car broken into twice. We even parked in the covered garage behind the building for more security and it still didn’t stop them! The car theift/vandalism in KC has risen insanely overall but definitely something to think about depending on what sort of vehicle you drive. Other than… Unity @ Richards & Conover are so amazing, good community, safe feel. 10/10 we miss it so much!

Lived here for almost a year and have had such a great experience! My apartment is super nice and spacious. The building location is in a prime spot, super walkable and close to everything. Dominic was great about letting me stop by a few times to check out (and check out again) the apartments I was looking into. Him and Kaitlin made the move-in process so easy for me; given that I was half-way around the world when I ended signing my lease! Everyone in the office including maintenance is super friendly and quick to respond/act. Definitely a great building and community!

I've been living in this one-bedroom apartment for the past seven months, and it has been a fantastic experience! The building is always well-kept, maintained properly, and regularly cleaned. One of the highlights for me is how dog-friendly the place is! There's a lovely grassy area just across the street, which is perfect for walks and playtime with my furry friends! The office staff here are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any concerns or questions. Their warm and welcoming attitude makes living here even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone, especially dog owners looking for a clean, well-maintained, and friendly place to call home.
