Moved in here about a month ago, and it's been fantastic so far. The staff have helped make this place feel like home in such a short time. The maintenance team especially, Chris and Chase, have been extremely professional and fixed every request in a timely manner. Hunter at the leasing office was also very helpful during my tour and the move in process. The facilities and grounds are amazing, and the River Market is a great place to live. Very happy with moving here!

I visited the area and stayed with friends over a long weekend, the property is excellently maintained and accessible. Living spaces are really spacious and have modern appliances, love love love the kitchen layouts and big bathtubs in the bathrooms, and plenty of windows. I was surprised how well the building insulated outside noise. The location is great! A really short walk had several great restaurants and the market area is fantastic — great coffee and food. Also the metro trolly passes right by, so it was easy to access pretty much all of the downtown KC area. The interior of the buildings were clean and parking was easy. Management staff that I spoke with were kind, one of the gentlemen in particular, Hunter, is a genuine people person and knows his property better than agents I’ve met at other properties. This is the place to be, I even thought about moving across states just to get a place here, seriously!

I have lived here for over a year, and overall it is a fine place to live and the staff are friendly. However, I have been disappointed with the value of the complex. It does not seem especially well maintained, and the recent renovations have been incredibly frustrating. For the past three months, residents have had to work around renovations that began with little warning and have significantly disrupted daily life. When searching for apartments, amenities were high on our list, to the point that we were willing to pay several hundred dollars more per month compared to complexes without them. It’s disappointing that the complex has offered no rent concession, credit, or other compensation for the inconvenience. We have had to incur additional costs to use a gym, as the alternatives provided were either inconveniently located or a very limited temporary setup within the building. We have also been unable to use the common areas, which would have been especially valuable this spring for hosting guests and as an extension of our living space. The construction noise has also been unpleasant, and we have received no meaningful updates or timeline for completion. Beyond the renovations, there are other areas of the property that appear neglected. At this price point, I believe there are other communities that offer better value and upkeep.

My experience at MAA The Station has truly been wonderful. The entire team is exceptional and genuinely cares about both the residents and the community. The maintenance crew is top notch, always helpful, responsive, and consistently going above and beyond. The leasing team is just as amazing. Anytime we had questions, they were quick to respond and always willing to help. I have lived here for nearly four years and as I prepare to move out, I will truly miss this apartment complex. Not only is MAA The Station a great place to live, but the River Market is one of the best neighborhoods in Kansas City. If you love a neighborhood feel with the fun energy of downtown, this is the perfect place for you. I would highly recommend living here.

We have lived at MAA The Station for years now and have absolutely LOVED our experience. We have felt completely supported by the awesome leasing team. They always have a smile on their face and are happy to assist with anything we need. The maintenance team is extremely kind and efficient. They're always quick to give our pups a treat as well! We couldn't recommend this apartment in this incredible area in downtown KC more!
