Luxe at Union Hill

I am 5 months into my lease here at Luxe and living in a renovated 2br/2ba unit. The neighborhood is so cute and homey, the neighbors here at Luxe specifically have been amazing.. there is a real sense of community in our building that has been nice to experience. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops and plant stores within walking distance that are great places to frequent, and most if not all give a neighborhood discount to residents at Luxe. The folks at Virgil’s, Filling Station, and Union on the Hill are kind and likely to remember your name.. giving a small town feel to city living. The gym is huge and while I’ve not been to the pool due to the season, Luxe has two separate pools, I’m looking forward to spending lots of time there come summer. The finishings chosen for my particular style unit are so cute and elegant. The cabinets and floors are easy to decorate around and the appliances are great, especially the fridge. The floor plan/layout is my favorite and would be perfect for roommates. The shower gives luxury and the bathtubs are deep. I’ve met all of the maintenance here and they are all friendly & down to earth! Diamond in the leasing office has been a gem, not only has he made my experience here amazing but I believe he is essential to the flow and experience here at Luxe, his impact has been obvious to me as a tenant. Packages come to your door more often than not here which has been a great experience coming from a complex with parcel pending.. I hated it. For those that don’t come to your door, they are delivered to a secured room right next to leasing. Hallways and common areas are cleaned once a week like clockwork, my only complaint is I wish there were more focus on cleaning in elevators. The lack of valet trash has been great, no stinky gross hallways and dumpsters are super conveniently located while still being outside so they aren’t stinking up garage spaces. And although I don’t have a dog or pet myself, dog parks and dog areas seem to be well taken care of and there are tons of options for your pups. Luxe properties are also close by the street car which is convenient. Things to note: the call boxes for many of the buildings do not work, including my building.. so I do have to go let everybody in, but I don’t typically have guests so it hasn’t been a huge inconvenience for me personally, but hopefully they are replaced as I’m sure it is an inconvenience to others and makes food delivery difficult. The garages unfortunately do not have cameras, I do not have a vehicle so again, does not impact me but something to note.

I’ve really enjoyed living here. The units are nicely updated, and the location is hard to beat as everything is super walkable, right next to Martini Corner, and with easy streetcar access, making it convenient to get just about anywhere in the city. My biggest cocern when moving in was common areas and hallways could use a little TLC, but improvements are happening every day, and you can tell management is actively investing in the property. One of the biggest highlights is the community. Both the staff and neighbors are soo friendly and welcoming, and it’s an especially great place if you’re a dog lover, there are tons of good people to interact with at the little dog park. Thanks to its proximity to the hospitals and medical schools, the building seems to have some awesome people from all different walks of life, which gives it a warm, diverse, and vibrant feel. Best thing though is its feels very safe here. I frequently walk at night with my dog and have never felt uncomfortable as a woman on her own. Overall, it’s a great place to live with a strong sense of community and a lot of positives.

this is the best place to live! Equidistant to the Plaza and River Market, a short walk to the streetcar, Martini Corner, Crown Center and Union Station. It quiet, safe, kinda hidden, underground protected parking, secure entry. I’ve been here 2.5 years and have no intention of going anywhere

Elizabeth from the leasing office was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and very professional. We were unable to visit the complex in person so she went out of her way to video chat, call, and text us with videos, pictures and diagrams of the apartment and complex amenities. I spoke with several leasing agents in the Hospital Hill area of KC and she was top notch. Diligent follow through and detail orientated. If you’re looking for an apartment and want a beautiful building with great amenities and professional and dedicated staff then Luxe Union Hill is the place for you! We are so lucky to have met Elizabeth she made the move to KC so much easier!!

I’ve lived at Union Hill for four years now, and I truly love it here. The maintenance team is fantastic, they are quick to respond and take care of any requests promptly and professionally. The parking garage for each apartment building adds an extra layer of convenience and security, and I’ve always felt very safe living here. The leasing office has also been consistently helpful and friendly whenever I’ve needed anything. Overall, Union Hill has been a wonderful place to call home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, well-managed, and comfortable community.
